Posted: 6/30/2008 7:50:01 AM | My dog is my fur-child, I'm solely responsible for her and she loves everyone.
But not everyone is fond of her... enthusiaism. I know I haven't been the best of trainers but she's pretty well behaved for the most part and socialized (hence the loving everyone). She does tend to jump (a habit I'm working to break) but otherwise she's pretty much the best dog ever. (not that I'm at all biased.)
That being said, if a guy doesn't like my dog he's not going to like, as she's like an extension of who I am. She's not going anywhere, but a guy on the other hand (especially a guy I'm only on a second date with) is expendable.
If a guy who was a professional dog trainer had constructive criticism then MAYBE it would be an exception to the rule but a self made Oracle (WTF is Oracle training anyway?!?!?) trainer? I don't know if I'd trust his knowledge. | |
