I think that the older man has learned some valuable lessons along the way if he was paying attention. I haven't been able to figure out if I was in love with him or in lust with him. He broke my heart but I have no regrets. I would do it all over again.

When i was married we had sex of course but it wasnt like it is now ... back then it was a few times a week(3/4) .... now when i have a bf its a few times a day if possible hehehe.. I guess its true ladies hit their prime once they hit 30 lol

So to anser the question truthfully, I would have to say that before 30, I certainly had alot more adventure...not anymore, thus...it was better for me when I was under 30 hehe...
I should qualify this with, I am open minded but, I have no interest in going out and picking up women anymore...I did it so much when I was a kid, that I don't even try anymore, I not only forgot how, but don't even want to...point in case...I went dancing tonite...3 women suggested i accompany them home...and yet I'm here alone chatting with you all...go figure ^^ lol...
I want to add that, I think alot of people seem to judge books, with a cover... Don't! cause you have no idea really....till you know the book...
