>>> If this is true, it is bad, why?

Think of it this way- say Canada wants nearly all of America's Iron. Then say they expect it for free.

Theres where it goes bad- its a natural resource of Canada- we can choose to sell it, but Americans are not entitled to our natural resources

Well, we need to understand what it is that we are discussing before jumping to this "what if". The majority of the American freshwater supply goes for agricultural use for area's below ag zone 7; the higher the ag number, the warmer and longer the growing season. Canada is typically in the 5 zone or lower, so a great deal of trade with Canada involves food grown in zones that your season does not allow. Naturally when people are trading in an area that involves roughly 50 million a day in goods, it could become dire if weather is going to play a role in production. A forecast of a possible condition if things were to continue for years at a present course. I do not know how your food prices translate now, but they may skyrocket if these warmer areas continue to grow more arid, and production is decreased due to a shift in the water supply from ag to consumption; a price jump that would affect both sides of the border. Diversion of American water supplies would occur long before any request for an increase in exported water from Canada, which we would buy, since it already has occured in states such as Georgia.
Oil reserves is a term used for what is available at the current level of payment by production at the time; not the total amount of oil that is known to exist. For instance, the US is low on it's oil reserves, but holds the largest known oil shale in the world. Basically you harvest what you can before moving on to another level of refining, and a new reserve.
The idea behind what has happened with the trade between our countries is clear; someone on both sides maybe going to hurt by the trade agreement that we have enacted, but in a global economy when countries can shift alligence over night, I think most Americans would rather die defending our brothers and sisters to the north, than some piss ant country that we are locked in due to some trade agreement, and has turned on someone like China for no reason other than they had us as a partner to back them up. I would like to think that we have and would anyway, and that it works both ways.

[R&R.....Joni Mitchell....Neil Young....The Guess Who...(American Woman....recently covered by Lenny Kravitz....huge hit....written by a couple of "'peggers"....the irony being it was the song that launched them into the US market)....Cilene Dion...(you can keep her...ugg).....The Band...all but one Canadian...]

You forgot Loverboy and Bryan Adams... You can name all the artist from Canada you want, but the phrase "Rock and Roll" was coined by Alan Freed and American dJ from Cleveland, and is and always was an American Musical art form, ask any great artist like the stone's, U2, The Who, and Zepplin, they all learned too rock from Americans... As for Ford and the Rest of American Auto companies, yes you import them now too some Americans, but my friend the majority of the money, comes right back into the states, for they are American Companies, as is Microsoft, and yes I remember the blackouts, took an American too come back up there and turn it back on....Anywho wether I love your country or not, wether you like my country or not merry christmas too all those up North...

[why give water to the usa?

i want real reasons.]

Real reasons?
1.) To replace all that water the US Gov't. has been pulling out of the Great Lakes and selling to China so they can manufacture more busted-ass junk to dump in the US markets for the enjoyment of the fools that elected that same Gov't.

[and if the politicians and self proclaimed intelectuals get to decide the fate of nations in locked up privacy then it really is TIME
to step in and have a REVOLUTION
because that is insanely absurd to give so much power to such arrogant, hidden, fools.

what will america DO with the water??

WASTE IT
they wil waste it]

Oh no, we won't waste it........We'll just mark it up and keep selling it to China!
Don't you know anything about "Free Trade".
Honestly, it's a fair deal.................Seriously!........just ask the fez wearin' Babalonian monkeyfux that implemented NAFTA.

Anytime you want to start that revolution, I'll march right beside ya!
I'll bring the ammo, you grab the canteens........
