Posted: 9/28/2007 7:50:31 PM | B.Bob you are correct, thank you. Westbury is about a mile closer. I called the cab company, $7 for a single person, $3 for each additional person (3 people would be $13).
I am still not sure of the line. Can anyone help with that? I am not a train person. According to the map, to me, it looks like the Hicksville line. Westbury is the stop before Hicksville (coming from the city), then it forks off to the Port Jeff and Ronkonkoma branches.
Anyone? Anyone?

Look's like um Suffolk line the blue line...Never heard of a Suffolk line.
But, you have to switch at Hicksvile it look's like...
I know what I notice...When, you buy your ticket at the train station....
Read at the bottom left hand side....It will say where to switch at...If the Ticket holder's don't know there self....That's what I learned last time...And the ticket
holder's didn't even know that stupid ppl hehe....

I have no faith that the Yankees will make it. But at least they made it further than the Mets! lol - I was actually rooting for the mets to win. I would have liked to see them make it to the playoffs.
See, the difference between the Mets and the Yankees (I am going to stir the pot here - you said you wanted to livin the thread) is the Yankees are humble. The Mets think that they are great, shoot their mouths off about how great they are, and they can't even make it to the playoffs. If Reyes is to good to hustle to first base, no matter what the circumstances (more than once-because of course that is what he gets paid millions of dollars for), and he is considered the "highest energy guy on the team" he is a disgrace to the Mets. If that is going to set the tone for the kind of team the Mets are, why be a Met fan? | |
