| Is there a difference between American and Australian Women Posted: 9/16/2007 5:19:01 PM | ok as a major perp of generalising, taking the p ...... i ....... s.......... s out of everything ... will be serious then for a change ... don;t know never met a American woman ... presume that those portrayed on television are not indicative of all American women just as those appearing on television here are not indicative of all Aussie women. All women are different just as all men are different. Difference is what makes this great ole world spin ... therefore OP the only one that can answer your question is you mate ... you'll have to come over to see for yourself. And please ... don't tell everyone that these broads on here are indicative of all Aussie women ......... cause if you do we will be over run by Yanks coming here .... trust me .... these ladies are the absolute cream of the crop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | |

| Is there a difference between American and Australian Women Posted: 9/16/2007 8:40:58 PM | | In Australia 87% of people are middle class, and 10% are rich. Only 3% are poor...mostly by choice; being aborigines who work 3 months, or less, per year in city construction jobs, and then spend the rest of the year wandering the outback as their ancestors did. Australian women are highly educated, very friendly, quite intelligent, and sexually liberated. I've been to Oz (Australia) 6 times so far. I'm hooked, and will probably emmigrate there before long. They have a lower crime rate, a sounder economy, and more culture. They also have universal health care. Oz does not take just anyone. Criminals, welfare cases, drop outs, etc, need not apply. You will need to have a job waiting for you when you arrive, or a school you have already paid for, or a local who will vouch for you and put you up while you look for work. Such selectivity helps keep the crime rate low. Do look into it. If you can qualify, go for it. I have friends there who would support me if need be, but I am building a business here that I can transport over there. While you ponder the idea, have an Ozzie Burger here. It's like any regular burger...with a fried egg, and slice of beet, added on top. | |

| Is there a difference between American and Australian Women Posted: 9/16/2007 8:51:17 PM | I love going to America. I always have a great time, no matter what state, whoops, State I am in.! It is certainly a country of many "faces". I meet good people every where. You just have to be a bit discerning, and lucky also I guess!!!!! Am looking forward to my next adventure already......... | |

| Is there a difference between American and Australian Women Posted: 9/16/2007 9:01:05 PM | Well I lived in the USA for only 13 months and I still say Australian females are by far more mature and a lot more open, another point that I would like to make is that Australian females are much more serious when it comes to relations (friends or other). As far as looks are concerned no nationality should be looked at with differences.
P.S Australian females have a much warmer personality.

| Is there a difference between American and Australian Women Posted: 9/17/2007 2:53:27 AM | Maybe the difference comes from the environment and the up bringing they have. I've mostly been in the South and can only comment on that, but there is a difference.
In my opinion, we're all human and we're also both Western societies so we have a natural tendency to be similar. But they are different.
But like someone else said, you just need to come here to experience it. Make your own mind up. And if you don't like it, then you know it wasn't a wasted experience. You still got to experience it.

| Is there a difference between American and Australian Women Posted: 9/17/2007 4:03:41 AM | | ^^^^ Fact is Helix if you don't understand our lingo and the way in which we like to have a go at each other (all in fun) then it could call for some serious misunderstanding .... taking the mickey out of each other is what we do and it is very Australian and very funny, but the rest of the world doesn't always share the same sense of humour..... | |

| Is there a difference between American and Australian Women Posted: 9/17/2007 5:59:19 AM | Wow, well as some what of an expert on the subject all I can say is come on over and see for yourself. Immagration over here is much easier than in the US, there is a "perspective spouse visa" which let's you come here and work for 9 months before getting married if you find the love of your life. There is a gov't website for exact details. I would trust an Aussie women before an American women but of course there are exceptions in both cultures. Just don't come over here and try to tell us how you do it at home. | |

| Is there a difference between American and Australian Women Posted: 9/17/2007 2:23:50 PM | See...I did spark a good one here. Lots of controversy, lots of fun and lots of laughs.
Truly there are vasts differences in all People.Like a lady said on page 2---you can find all the differences in America, Africa, England, Philippines, China and of course--Australia.
Thank you all for the very good responses to my littel sweeping question. Fo those of you who felt appalled--don'tfeel that way. This is nothing but the internet at it's best... Maybe this next few months--I'll find a me a nice Aussie to be involved with...who knows ladies--it could be you....

Oh I know, being both Australian and sarcastic. I still think that the generalisations were rediculous, and neither funny or sarcastic. Anyway, I am not here to brawl, just entitled to my opinion. Didn't realise it was so clicky here.
