| What Makes You Feel Your Mortality The Most
Posted: 9/15/2008 6:21:41 PM | | I dunno, when I think about death I think about anyone close to me who has passed away and how I felt when I heard the news. The first thing that comes to mind for me for each person is the message that they left or the great things that they had done. Even if the person is not as close to you or you did not see them as, "great" when they were here you still somehow seem to pick out the good bits and cherish them. I feel like when you die you dont take a whole lot with you but you leave everything behind so death does not really scare me. I try to live each day with the thought that everything I do, every impression I make, smile I leave, laugh I give to someone or change that I may have made on their life is going to remain when Im gone so...seems to take all the fear away from it !! Thankfully, I have not lost many that are close to me. | |
