Doing very little but standing or sitting with a hand out.
Glorified panhandlers one and all.
I understand the one part of your point and is valid enough for some one
familiar with "things".

I do understand your point, yes. The system is as you say full of bottom feeders making money off of the backs of hard working young and old families.
I have actually purchased a home once that was listed as a private sale. I was leary at first about using this route without a real estate agent but soon discovered it went quite smoothly without. Unfornately, still needed the services of a notary to do all the legals, but they do cost less than a real estate lawyer.
In the future if I decide to sell again...lol..on my third home in two years..*ekkkks* I would not hesitate to list on my own with out a realtor to minimize personal loss and to cut out at least one middle man.
