I've emailed guys that have looked but not emailed and it turns out they are a little shy to take the first move...I view people but don't always email them as their profile maybe not what I'm looking for  | |

Um, I think I'm being a bit dull here but how do you tell?
first you count up every person thats ever sent you a message.
then you count up everyone who has viewed you in the who has viewed you section,taking care to include all of those who have long dissapeared from that viewed you page plus those that have appeared more than once in that section.
then you times number by a multiple of 20 if your male or .2 if your female.
(this is in order to take into account those in stealth mode!)
then you can share those viewed by those who have messaged.
And if you can do that then you deserve all the plaudits that awaits you!

They are all lovely but then we have to screen some of them somehow. I usually check for grammatical mistakes, text speak and general intelligence.....it eliminates a lot of the WAG wannabees. I can't imagine getting upset because someone has looked but not contacted you...maybe they are just looking at the person behind the forum postings...or I am not what they are looking for...getting stressed about it is, imho a bit- errr desperate.

I get about 30-40 veiws a day but only get a first contact message every 2-3 days.... Not doing too good!!!! lol!!!
I reckon my problem is that most of the guys from down near me are already taken!!!! lol!!!
first contact message every 2-3 days. !!! lucky to get that amount in a year

I just took a look and there are 8 listed as contacted me first, not sure how many views I got in that time though. Plus, it seems some of those who contacted me first have removed their profile since.
I would say between 1 in 5-10 seems realistic.
I never message someone just based on the profile picture and always read the profile and interests. I read a page today that had socialising as an interest and the main text said, "Just hoping to meet someone who shares similar interests."

I do not look at who has viewed me, I do not feel the need to know why they viewed and did not mail. I do not feel the need to know why someone did not reply to my message and I do not need to justify why I do not reply to some peoples messages!
Just as when you go out, you do not talk to everyone who looks at you in the bar, you make your excuses to not talk to people you are not attracted to and sometimes you are not their cup of tea. Pretty simple really. You do not go up to them and say: 'I happen to notice that you looked at me for a second but didnt speak with me, can I ask why?'  | |

Anyway, I get lots of views and not all of them contact me and that's understandable. I've listed enough info to let people decide whether it's worth contacting me or not. They can get an idea of my interests and the type of person I am. | |
