People forget what the definition of love is. IT IS NOT A FEELING FFS. Love is what you would do without expecting anything in return and willfully accepting responsibilities that have to do with the both of you, sacrifically. It's called AGAPE. Examples of 'marital love' called agape: Doing PITA things without being told, going the extra mile to make life easier on the other person, taking on additional responsibilites and showing how much you appreciate them, not finding faults and causing arguements over things that don't matter, praying for each other, everything should be a 2-way street, including giving in to personal needs even when you don't feel like it. Emotional feelings are just that, emotional.
