| Why do women who show cleavage get upset when a guy stares at their breasts? Posted: 3/4/2009 9:15:14 PM |
I interviewed a guy who kept staring at my breasts while being interviewed They are not big I was wearing a loose sweater I was covered up to my neck He was perfect for the job No I didn't hire him He would have creeped everyone out
Sounds exactly like one of my former colleagues (and who knows! It might be the same guy!) It didn’t matter what you were wearing, if you were female he blatantly stared at your chest, crotch or rear end. I don’t think he even realized he was doing it. He was finally canned after several female visitors from outside our organization filed complaints. Would have happened a lot sooner if the complaints from the women he worked with had been acted upon.
OT: Women like attention but there’s a right way and a wrong way, and a right time and place for a guy to indicate his appreciation. Men who ogle or make crass comments are just that … crass.

The women have them and I'm going to look. I'm just not going to get caught looking. If you stare, you're an idiot.
I can take a quick look and have that image burned into my brain for at least an hour. So, I take a quick glance every once in a while and we can still have a nice talk.
What's wrong with that?
I used to think that women should be more discreet, but a little cleavage can be very attractive and enticing.

They want the RIGHT guy to stare at them. Haha. Exactly. Whilst there is a wrong way to notice, if it was the unattractive bloke from down the road it's so disgusting and 'how dare he?!', if it was George Clooney or Brad Pitt however, that's another story.
Here in Australia topless sunbathing is quite common on all the beaches. There are plenty of women happy to lay there for all to see, but heaven forbid a man should actually notice for fear of being branded a pervert! lol

Posted: 3/5/2009 3:24:20 PM | well allot of european countries have that kind of free spirit, so it doesn't faze too many... but here in the states, we look at bathing on a beach naked ,,, as nudity,.that's a different subject. the girl says she gets mad when men stare at her after she's exposed her bo##s, go figure

I don't find either of them anything special........... Brad and George I meant................my breasts, well they are very special.................LOL Lol. I'm sure they are, but you get my drift about the attention being welcome only from people you're attracted to?
Of course I'm painting with a broad brush here and there is no excuse for rude behaviour, but you can't expect a man not to respond when a woman displays her cleavage, we can't help being attracted.

have cleavage but can't help it.
If I like the style of a shirt, I'm going to wear it because I feel good in it. It's not for any one person's enjoyment. It's about me.
Men who blatantly stare have no class or social skills, if you ask me.
What sort of garbage is this. So, if he stares, at your breastes that you choose to hang out there for the world to see, he has no class; surely however, you are totally classy. Classy means hanging out god's gifts, but don't eat the apple, eh? I "feel good" looking at a nice rack and I thank you for putting your classy tits out there for me to stare at.

I don’t think he even realized he was doing it. He was finally canned after several female visitors from outside our organization filed complaints. So, nobody ever mentioned it to him or had a quiet word with him? Perhaps never in his life?
The first he knew about it was when he lost his job and livelihood because he had transgressed the unspoken office political line? He pays for his lack of manners by being out of a job?
This is separate from someone displaying predatory behaviour, this is a self-awareness issue, and self-awareness issues can be fixed with counselling, not taking his livelihood away. Bet that taught him a lesson.

| Why do women who show cleavage get upset when a guy stares at their breasts? Posted: 3/6/2009 9:00:04 AM | I agree with you completely. I respect women for whatever they want to do highly. But please, If a dame is going out to tease as a sleaze; she should bare with the ooogling and the stares she gets. I also think that if she is wearing short cut skirts, why are they always trying very hard to pull the skirt or dress down to cover what they intended to expose for attention as an eye hook or eye lure to us men. Either you are going to show or not. Put up or shut up ladies. | |

What is around the cleavage ,like make up, hair, clothes, can tell you more about the woman the cleavage is connected to.
Does how she dress that shows the cleavage, suggest pretty as well as smart? Or does it suggest party girl and not serious?

| Why do women who show cleavage get upset when a guy stares at their breasts? Posted: 4/1/2009 9:32:05 PM | Good question. Assuming she is intentionally flaunting them, wearing a blouse a few sizes too small and leaving a few buttons open, a 45 second stare may be rude, whereas a quick glance might make her feel feminine and attractive if she catches you and you quickly look away and casually whistle like you don't know what is going on. (Like the scene in Superbad where the kid did exactly that. Really funny .) Of course, it's always a tough situation. Better off wearing the dark sunglasses and play it safe.
Anyone seen the Mad TV skit where this issue is reversed? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zrl5sYmApcI&feature=PlayList&p=8E3443875306CA98&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=14

| Why do women who show cleavage get upset when a guy stares at their breasts? Posted: 4/10/2009 8:06:40 PM | in some instances, women want it both ways. they want to have their boobs bulging waaaay out of their super low cut blouse but you not stare at them. this isn't realistic. if you have them popping out of your shirt and they look like two bald guys trying to escape then don't get upset if all the men are looking, and looking, and looking........ why look like a skank anyway? aren't you looking for lots of attention? | |
