The first facet: The cleavage could be the “biology” advertising.
The second facet: At a conscious level she is in denial about this
The third facet: She is defending her “good girl-ness”.

a well rounded version of me -- if a man becomes solely focused on just
my assetts, then yes I get totally peeved!

I think the issue comes from if THE WRONG GUY is staring...if it is someone she WANTS to have notice her, it's great! But if a guy she thinks is too fat, or too old, or too poor, or for whatever other reason she doesn't want the attention of...then it's offensive! | |

Posted: 7/15/2009 8:35:01 PM | I love my breasts. If I wear a top that reveals cleavage, I walk proudly. They are great breasts. I don't care if anyone stares or looks. There's more to being me than caring what anyone thinks of something I enjoy. I think there is definitely a need to use some class where cleavage is concerned. I mean it's not like I'd go to church with cleavage LOL! I'd wear a scarf to cover it. If I'm going to do facepainting with kids, I'm not going to wear anything that shows my cleavage. There are situations though where I'm totally comfortable letting my girls have some air...and if anyone wants to enjoy my lines, have at it!
Anyone who thinks a woman is a whore or anything of the kind because they have great cleavage is simpleminded. No matter how much of my body I show, you still got to make the correct route of entry. That starts with the TOP of my body...where my mind is...if you pass that, you get to move down. In the meantime, enjoy the cleavage.  | |

On the one hand they DO WANT to show their sexuality and impress the guy, on the other they get offended. Do they see it as natural if the guy DOESNT stare at their breasts? And Im not talking about a 15 sec stare, Im talking about a 2 second stare.

I really do not mind if a man "admires" my cleavage... often... for long periods of time. I realize I have breasts... have had them since the 5th grade ... had a long time to come to terms with them ... I realize I show the cleavage... I don't mind it looked at. If I like the guy, I may even lean forward to help him enjoy it more. Depending on how long I have known the guy, I don't even mind his mentioning his admiration for my cleavage.
On the other hand, I'd prefer my cleavage not be a 4 hour conversation topic. | |

Posted: 7/16/2009 1:39:35 AM | This is something us guys will probably never understand. I joined this site just because I liked the forums. I did however browse through the women in my area. Im I was pretty surprised to see how many woman have pictures of themselves in skimpy clothing, pressing their breasts together making kissy faces, and suggestively posing on their bed somewhere else. You then read their profile and they're seeking LTRs and put " don't contact me if all you want is sex" right in their profile. You ladies have to understand that this kind of stuff is confusing to us men.
You women are right. You are not whores. ( Well unless you wanna be  )
however a lot of you are wearing a whore's uniform.
It's like me going out in public wearing a police officer's uniform. Someone approaches me and asks for my help they were just robbed. Then I tell them "just because im dressed this way does not make me a police officer." | |

LOL I see guys working, and when they get "hot" they rip their top off, and show off their... assets. Everyone (except the select few who are about to argue with me) wants to be loved and appreciated in a LTR. That is the final goal in life because everyone grows old and dies, but who wants to do it alone?

Men look at women. It is what we do. If you don't like it, cover up. You have no right or expectation to privacy in public. Women come up with some many rules that i barely care about them anymore. I do what I please. If you come walking into the gym with your oh so firm body tightly hugged by your spandex, damn right I'm gonna look. You think i'm going to shyly look away to avoid awkwardness? Heck no. You can wear looser clothing. Those parts are for attracting me. So i will let them do their job. You don't want to wear looser clothing? Too bad, i want to go shirtless in the gym because it keeps more cooler, but i don't get to. Crinkle your nose, look at me with disgust. You brought if on yourself. Feel free to look all you want at me. I go for shirtless walks down the street and have cars of girls honking and screaming like dopes. Big deal.
I don't see why women want to expose themselves on a daily basis anyway. But if you wear a tight shirt as a dude to show off your musculature or thinness or whatever then you are vain and unworthy of talking to them. Bill to Ted: Bogus. | |

Posted: 7/17/2009 4:13:30 PM | | 1) a woman is not necessarily showing cleavage to impress a guy. a woman dresses to accentuate her body type, whatever that may be (small waist, nice breasts, great butt, long legs). she wears make-up to accentuate her best features (high cheekbones, full lips, beautiful eyes) She styles her hair in a style that flatters her face shape. haircolor compliments her skin tone. 2) staring at anyone for any reason is rude. that shouldnt need an explanation. 3) a discreet glance is natural. guys are usually so skilled at the glance , that neither the woman or his wife notices. its like staring into the sun, more than a glance could be dangerous. | |

Yes if i was with a bf then it would be different because then men show more respect and dont whissle and stare like horny teenagers- not saying all do but a lot of them do...
Cant understand women that dress to get that sort of attention but i suppose they feel the need for that kind of attention... whatever purpose.. | |
