In an interview Dr Wright stated that Obama was a Politician and that Obama was Ordinary...He also said that Obama says what he has to say, implying that maybe he is not genuine or sincere....These statements are more telling than any of the statements from Dr Wrights sermons as he was calm rational and not in the midst of a fiery sermon when revealing his perception of Obama... | |

I can't trust Shillary or McInsane with the "red button." Both are too emotional and unable to apply logical thinking to a situation. Obama is the one least likely to do something rash or stupid.

Get this straight up, Progressives do not like Hillary! When w and his cronies were pushing invading Iraq she supported it. She will never ben forgiven for that.
I know it is a fun game to pretend that nobody knew they were lying but that is a lie. Before we illegally invaded Iraq there were huge protests against it all over the world. A lot of people knew. This was a question about a NUCLEAR attack by Iran remember? Israel is about the size of New York city. A nuclear attack would pretty much obliterate the entire country. What would you and Sen. Obama do in that instance? Say you bad boys? Please don't do that again?
What do you think was the U.S. policy toward a possible nuclear attack by the Soviet Union on Western Europe during the Cold War? That's why we need someone in office who actual knows something about the facts and the history involved in foreign policy.

Remember, southern Democrats including Al Gore prior to Bill Clinton actually being elected crafted a set of platforms that the Democrat party should adopt to win a presidential election. Suffice it to say it suggested taking a more moderate approach to issues that would win over blue collar and rural voters, who had often voted Republican in prior elections.

That's disaster, anyway you look at it.
No leader in the West, none, would accept a nuclear attack on a nation without military intervention. Any nation launching such an attack would be able to celebrate it for only a short time before being destroyed itself.
Failure to respond otherwise would mean opening a door that would risk the security of the planet's population. That's why nation's obtain nukes in the first place, to ensure any attacker knows they will get what they give. | |

Is it possible that you have not noticed how insanely expensive health insurance is? I, like a majority of MDs in this country, support a single payer health plan. But that would cut the insurance companies out of the profits. And we cant be having any of that.
It amazes me how ignorant Americans are. We act like a single payer helath plan cannot work. What we actually see in the world is it is exactly what works. Funneling a large portion of the monies spent to insurance companies, who then get to decide who gets treatment for what, is what appears not to be working in the slightest.

The point here isn't what we would do or what our position is on the matter. These things are not handled as a matter of public consumption in such a way. Presentation is important in these matters.
And remember that when Obama stated that he would approve directed special ops or Predator drone strikes on actionable intelligence on AQ and Taliban hiding in the autonomous tribal regions of Pakistan without Pervez' approval, Hillary herself screamed OMG! He wants to obliterate Pakistan!!!! Her argument that Obama's statement indicated ineptitude on foreign policy then should be applied to her actual statement. | |

The turth is the Neocons have gotten so good at framing the situtation that both Hillary and Obama have decided (or someone on their campaign decided) that they needed to appear tough on foreign policy. So, from time to time they will inadvertently blurt out that they would bomb some country back to the stone age.
Sheesh-- dont we have enough war pigs running the joint?
What we really need is someone with some interpersonal skills who can actually use a little diplomacy.
I think it is hysterical that we keep calling these other countries threats when we are the one with all the weapons, who have attacked sovereign nations unprovoked, and keep threatening to bomb other countries, or to use nuclear weapons on them,
I think we have proven who the big threat to peace is on the planet. | |

Iran's not seeking nuclear weapons to destroy Israel (although a stated objective), they want them as a deterrent to the country that's threatened them that has nuclear weaponry. US!
