| Life in Salem... Posted: 9/20/2008 10:02:30 PM | By the way there are many places to meet people. The Mangoose, the Copper John, Johnny's (open in summer). Salem has life of its own unless you limit yourself. | |

| Life in Salem... Posted: 10/7/2008 2:43:59 PM | | Melbourne, Australia...roughly 4 million people, lots of shopping, museums, zoo, parks, gardens, historic sites, theaters, classic architecture, schools, colleges, universities, comedy clubs, etc. 83 different ethnicities; all in the family restaurant trade. Casinos, race tracks, international airport, good public trasportation (buses/trams/trains), a place where Americans are still welcomed, and liked. Language is English, and immigrants must learn it. 87% of people are middle class, 10% are rich. Nice bay/sea port. Near outback. Close to Crocodiles, kangaroos, 350 species of parrots. Moomba (Victoria State Fair...name is aborigine word for "let's party!"). | |

| Life in Salem... Posted: 10/12/2008 10:58:51 AM | | I recently moved back to Salem ...and most people are correct there isn't a whole lot of things to do in Salem. I would be interested in getting a group of people together that wanted to do some fun things together. Any interest? | |

| Life in Salem... Posted: 10/12/2008 1:39:06 PM | I just moved here a little over a year ago. Still have no clue what to do, other than drive somewhere else to do something.
I could go for some bowling, or putt-putt golf. | |

| Life in Salem... Posted: 10/28/2008 10:13:06 PM | | Minto Brown Park is nice too... you can walk along the river and they have miles of trails to bike or walk. Northern Lights Theater is really neat too. Especially if you don't want to drop 30 bucks on a movie... 3 dollar admission and beer and good food that they bring to your table in the theater while you are watching your movie. Cool! | |
