after thinking about this for 30 seconds...
absolutely nothing new will occur to you... | |

| ~ In 6 Lines or Less ~ Posted: 7/18/2009 5:43:13 PM | My knees are sore, My butt is sore, I lost my gel seat, Somewhere in the street, Now I think, It's time for a drink. | |

| ~ In 6 Lines or Less ~ Posted: 7/19/2009 4:11:22 AM | something moving caught my eye looking up just one young fawn is walking by moving on thin legs still so wobbly munching breakfast of fresh green shrubbery huge ears moving constantly swishing his small white tail occassionally | |

| ~ In 6 Lines or Less ~ Posted: 7/19/2009 7:30:26 AM | Two hos emerged from a yellow cab, And sorry I could not afford both, I had to choose which one I'd jab, I looked up one skirt as far as I could, To where it ended in undergrowth.
Then took the other since she was fair, And better still it had no hair.
(Oops! That poem stepped over the line and might get a frosty reception.)
------------------------------------------------
One cannot choose where the mind leads one, I was born with my tongue in my cheek, And I just cannot help poking fun, But is it a crime if I'm weak?
So if you don't like what I think, Don't blame it on me blame the drink!
(No, I'm sober. Last night was another story.)
------------------------------------------------
I can't squeeze my life into three score years and ten, There's so little time and so much I'd like to do, I prepare a plan and make out a list but then, Some unseen hands take hold of me out of the blue.
And just like my life all my poetic designs, Will not fit in the confines of only six lines.
------------------------------------------------
Sometimes I can't contain myself, And neither can my skin, Some mischievous elf, Is making me want to sin, I burst and break free, In a poem writing spree.
------------------------------------------------
A crow hopped on my picnic table, Hoping for a piece of meat, His feathers smooth like satin or sable, His eyes ever watchful not missing a beat.
And I wonder why beauty has blessed, This intelligent bird considered a pest.
------------------------------------------------
Well that's six for the price of one, And I've had my bit of fun, Now I must do the three esses, (I'll give you three guesses), A new day lies waiting, And I'll be out dating.
(Have great day!)

| /////\\\\\ 6 Lines or Less //////\\\\\\ Posted: 7/25/2009 9:37:04 PM | You know .... I love lightning storms. I've seen some things I can tell you. Parking lot full late at night in Florida ... Lighting capital!! Unbelievable displays. Two young boys stepped under a live oak to get out of the rain ... lightning found them trying to hide. They told us as construction workers we didn't have to worry about lighting ... "It won't strike a gounded metal structure!" .... As we watched the building over from ours get hit. Cazy me, I've tried to catch it on film ... I'm always a second too late. | |
