He's never bumped this thread up btw.
What? Like bumping one of the lovelies up on his rotation schedule you mean? Once again the "old gal" requires some clarification.
.. never mind :0)
Kynie... he never bumped the thread... it was dead for quite some time and he just came back in when there was a new posting... can't fault him for that, no matter what Your views on his lifestyle are.
And Mr. Wrong... honestly... you are coming across as jealous.. It's certainly understood that you don't agree with how scouldrel "behaves" :0) no need to keep reiterating, by putting down any female that would have anything to do with him. unless of course like me... you're just looking for clarification and better understanding of the mind of a libertine. *laughing here*

Dear Scoundrel

If you are happy bedding as many women as you can readily maintain, then hey that is your affair. Please in no way interpret any comments I may have made as being a personal attack on you or anyone else of such a persuasion.

My comments were merely, a reflection on my opinions of what I think a Player is.

Each to his own as they say ... vive la difference....

First I'd like to thank the two ladies for pointing out that I'm not the one bumping this thread. This thread was all but dead when someone, other than myself, brought it back to life.

MrWrong, your other posts tell a differant story. I don't care what you think of me. You have no effect on my life. But, your last few posts in this thread have been less than flattering towards any woman that's fallen pray to the cheaters and liars. They are sluts, have low self esteem and now you say they have STDs. You my friend have issues.

I think a player is someone who is dishonest about what he or she wants in a relationship and uses it to get what they want.

I haven't whined anywhere in this thread. I am what I am and I'm not ashamed of it. I also haven't insulted anyone. You can't say that. If you feel the way you say why do you keep coming back and posting here? How easy would it be to simply pass over this thread and let it die? It's you that keeps nipping at my heals, begging for attention every time you post here. I feel pity for you. Wouldn't your time be better spent writting a fishmail to a quility woman in your area?

I have found that the word "slut" has many meanings depending on who is using the word. Women use it to hurt one another. "She only get so much attention from the boys because she's a slut." Men often use it as sour grapes. "I didn't want her anyway because she's a slut."

My own opinion is a slut has sex for the wrong reasons. Self validation is a good example. Your defination implies a person caught up in their passions. A person so turned on that logical thought has stopped working and all that matters is the feeling. Have you never felt passion like this? Have you never aroused it in someone else?

That is the reason I am the way I am. I am addicted to that feeling and it is why I always have a condom in my pocket. You never know where the day may lead.

Oh fricken
Stupidity knows no bounds. Even when it comes to women occasionally.
OPs follow threads like hawks...the same way any attention seeker does when they say some ridiculous controversial remark or create a situation or life event to draw attention to themself.

A player...sets the scene...occasionally allows for variables...sits back and waits but pounces (cos they cant control themselves)...they allow for Innocents that pervade the situation and cry unjustified victim as much as the perpetrator does.
They ignore those that hit too close...gather around those that feed an unrealistic & undeserving ego...and enable the behavior.

Players flow with incidental brains, a shit load of luck and massive stupidity.

I am what I am and I'm not ashamed of it

Players are players because they are incapable of relating to people (women) any other way than superficially.
Romatically, emotionally...they are barren and they know it.

They are the sons of a single mothers who were never taught to be a man so therefore follow the paths of a wayward uncles and attempt to romanticize what they are.
They are nothing...and more than anything they say about what they are and what they do....they know they are nothing
All the bravado in the world...or the internet...wont change it.

My mom and dad are still married after more than 60 years. I was married for 10 years myself. I left her after she became addicted to speed. I raised my son on my own.

Kyn you're guessing and you are way off. What you just posted is about you not me.

I'll have to disagree with them feeling "barren" because, for a guy, it can be fulfilling. Guys are wired to run around and behave like this... but society and the all mighty female perspective denies them from following their natural urges.

Personally, if I don't approach women, I know that they'll always approach me, but that doesn't mean I'll "pounce." I'm 37yrs old and just yesterday, I came across a 19yr old that nearly *pounced* on me, or at least she pounced on the opportunity that she saw in me. Tell me what she was interested in??? A relationship with a guy nearly 20yrs older? It's a natural urge... a natural passion - as Scoundrel put it.

So whatever views society and your perspective may place on the lifestyle, it'll never be more than an unnatural influence. EVERY guy is a natural player at birth, but society attempts to shame his natural instincts and keep him in check. Some guys will always act on their urge(if they know how) and will only stop when they find a woman worth keeping... one that won't bail on him or screw it up once they establish a family together. And now'a days, that's nearly impossible to find... so let the player be and understand that he *dumped* you ... he didn't PLAY you. That's life.

The thing is that they may not feel barren, whilst actually being that way, and the depth of fulfilment is impossible to gauge.

A bloke who is the deceitful type discussed earlier in the thread, (where he leads each woman to believe that she is the one and only when that is not his intention) knows that he is harming the emotional welfare of each of the women he is deceiving, and kidding himself of his net value in the process.

The bloke who is upfront about it all (who incidentally I don't think should have the "player" tag) and dumps women quickly may find that for all his "experience" he actually has not given things long enough to find the degree of fulfilment and emotional depth that may be available, and more fulfilling.

Good things take time to develop and explore.

Each to their own. Just have to be honest and communicate well. And give things enough time to truly develop.

... yes, and apparently some don't see it when they display it in themselves.
They are the sons of a single mothers who were never taught to be a man
I'm sure all the single mothers of young men would take issue with this statement.

They are nothing...and more than anything they say about what they are and what they do....they know they are nothing All the bravado in the world...or the internet...wont change it.
Sadly, that can be said about MANY who post in the fora regularily ~ regardless of their preferred lifestyles.

Kyn you're guessing and you are way off. What you just posted is about you not me
Not me my scandalous attention seeking friend. *Arent troll threads deleted?*
Lets see...when someone tells a story...its best to stick to the same in every thread.
Far more believable. Oh hold on...seems I was right and wow...they do lie afterall or skirt along the truth for the occasion (sounds better than lying doesnt it)
A player...sets the scene...occasionally allows for variables...sits back and waits but pounces
I also remember saying...that you either are what you are...or you are not. Which led me to say...either way...shows lack of character.

So which is it? Bullsh!tter or Bad Boy? Let the world be your confessional.

I'll have to disagree with them feeling "barren" because, for a guy, it can be fulfilling. Guys are wired to run around and behave like this... but society and the all mighty female perspective denies them from following their natural urges.
EVERY guy is a natural player at birth, but society attempts to shame his natural instincts and keep him in check
Oh puhlease...next you'll be quoting the "HYPOTHESIS" thats become cliche to use as fact. One that cannot be tested either...how convenient for people who like to argue its merit.
Incidentally...a hypothesis...is an assumption...see where thats headed?

Sooo....we'll have to agree to disagree...cos frankly...IMO...Id say in most women's opinions (who arent into the lifestyle themselves or play the dutiful wife while their SO is out doing the same thing)...would disagree as well.
I also believe...after reading countless threads that there'd be a far whack of the male population (as opposed to a minority who engage in the behavior or havent been conditioned by players to believe its normal)...would disagree too
Here's the current statistics on cheating in relationships (relevance being who is or isnt "driven" by sex)
60% male
40% female.
Thats close enough to half and half...so that doesnt say having sex with multiple partners is natural...it simply means approx 50% of people will do it and these people most probably do have the brain capacity, function & reasoning of a primate compared to the rest.
^^^Hey! check that out..for anyone who wants to pull theory outta their a$$ to prove a point...I just established my own hypothesis. Feel free to disprove it.

I know which side of Darwin's theory I sit on and its pro-evolution, not another fabricated *reason* why some people do it and others dont.

I also dont think you get an gold star for fighting these so called "natural urges" when in a relationship. You arent doing anyone a favor by keeping it in your pants...you're simply doing whats full well expected & well within your capability to do in classic monogamous relationships.
Next some of you will be wanting a pat on the head for doin the dishes.

The thing is that they may not feel barren, whilst actually being that way, and the depth of fulfilment is impossible to gauge

^^^What he said. And lookie...a man said it too

... yes, and apparently some don't see it when they display it in themselves

Clearly not...otherwise your post simply wouldnt exist.

I'm sure all the single mothers of young men would take issue with this statement

Dont digress, misrepresent or attempt to discredit just so that you can enable.

That's your pigeon scoundrel...the year long wait to put your devious plan into action is over.
Frankly tho...considering the responses... its either part of another scam or that happened a loooong time ago.

Kyn sweetie, I want you to take a deep breath and count to ten.

Let's assume for a moment everything you say is correct and I'm nothing more than an attention seeker. If that is true, you have played into my little game more so than anyone else. YOU are my dancing monkey.

You need to ask yourself why I have such a strong effect on you.

Ooh, I think I should meet this HC chick. Most of these female player fishies have iron feet -- it might be nice to finally meet one with feet . . . er fins . . . of clay for a change. (see the Book of Daniel, though I cringe when it comes to quoting Bible).

Does Iron Rust in pond water?

Tie her to the Halyards and Flog that HC beach! (What the fcuk is a halyard anyway?) Make her wish she had never made insults, projected her torment, expressed her opinions, or donned holy frocks and pointed a scornful finger, but God Bless her for doing it HERE on the pond. She's precious.

I guess if one must dub someone a player, this HC babe MUST qualify.

Kyn, if you lived closer to me, we'd have to get together to discuss our theories over coffee in real time... bet you'd get me kicked out of the coffee house after making such a ruckuss!!

I guess the only other point that I want to make is that more and more men will become "player" types based on where society is headed today. Women are far more concerned about being individualists and having *their* own children these days than ever before. So men have no choice but to respond, ya know? You'll have to accept it eventually.

hmm.. i dunno should I keep going??? The single women that we see all over these forums that have kids and have left the father could be called a "player." Sure they could be labeled like that... for getting what they wanted from the guy and then dumping his a$$!! Even after pledging her vows of forever-ness when she got married. 53% of marraiges end in divorce, and *70%* of those divorces were initiated by women!! So that would mean that about 25-30% of *all* women are players!! But THAT just sounds way too crazy doesn't it??? Why doesn't society recognize THAT side of it instead. (?)

Kind of reminds me of a time when the Earth was FLAT! =p
