| X Factor 2007 Posted: 10/7/2007 12:54:25 PM | Is that Black fella with the Bald head still in it? The one who sounds a bit like Luther vandross? I want him to win.
Ok. I don't really watch it,i just wanted to seem popular by pretending i did. I thought there's bound to be a bald, black man in it,who sounds either like Luther or Alexander o'neal.

| X Factor 2007 Posted: 10/7/2007 12:54:57 PM | That doesnt help, couldn't see their names through the tears, its like yawning, someone starts I join in.
He was the young dark haired one wasn't he? Got to go and search for him now

Boys:- Danni should have chosen Dom instead of Rid, much better bet as the X Factor.
agreed
and i also agree that Andy has a great chance... but i like the black girl in Louie's group too....

| X Factor 2007 Posted: 10/7/2007 1:23:30 PM | Daniel is humpable I love his voice too....housewifes choice lol. | |
|
| X Factor 2007 Posted: 10/7/2007 1:27:11 PM | Just watched the results as to the 3 in each group going through to the live show.....
Beverley in Lou's group........fab voice........my fav so far!!!!
I like the boy band in Simon's group, the band that he put together, however im shocked the girl group that he also put together got through......they auditioned as solo singers and together there are too many divas and egos, out singing one another causes friction...........or is that why they went through.....raise the viewing figures...
|
| X Factor 2007 Posted: 10/7/2007 1:30:31 PM | Know who Andy is now, had to look though.
Bet Louis is chuffed to bits that his experiment with the solo artists into groups thing worked, he will gloat for ages if one wins, despite not mentoring them.
Now back to perv over Daniel

| X Factor 2007 Posted: 10/21/2007 9:29:35 AM | Well we've now had the 1st of the live events & tis a tearful goodbye to Kimberley, the giggly barmaid, will you miss her "style" I wonder?
Thought this was the right result of the 2 who were in the sing off but not on the night, here's my top & bottom 3 after the 1st round.
Top 3: Niki (best by a mile), Rhyd & Hope.
Bottom 3: Daniel, Leon & Alicia.
For me the 2 boys should have been in the sing off but I guess the "housewife vote" came to the fore again.
& what about Mrs O? Will she stay or will she go? I think she was probably upset by the phone vote & will calm down enough to return next week, even if it is "fun tv" it does make good viewing on a Sunday afternoon (was at the Worthing pof meet last night).
Your comments please. | |

| X Factor 2007 Posted: 10/21/2007 9:33:37 AM | to be perfectly honest, i thought most of them last night were pretty dismal, and it showed even more so when leona came on and sang...
considering she was last years winner, none of them came anywhere near close to the level that she's at.
having said all that though, i do think that most of the songs picked for them were wrong,....and the clothes and rhydian's hair??? wtf was that all about!!
|
| X Factor 2007 Posted: 10/21/2007 9:40:19 AM | Was this on at the same time as Strictly, hmm some of those ladies could be strict with moi. Such bodies, such movement and legs up to their....., will be booking myself in for some of those salsa lessons when me knee is sorted. Sex with yer clothes on, mmmm
vvvv Ahh well that's no good then as I'm a slim mean dancing machine of course.
|
| X Factor 2007 Posted: 10/21/2007 9:45:39 AM | I would think that the women you see on Strictly and those that you see at your local council estate 'Strictly Corporation' dancing events will be a whole wide world apart. Think humpty dumpty does Salsa.
OT: I haven't got a T.V, So I'm afraid I have never had the opportunity to watch X-factor. It sounds dead fun though. I might go out to Currys in the morning and see about getting a small portable. We'll see.

| X Factor 2007 Posted: 10/21/2007 11:11:56 AM | what was wrong with sharon osbourne last night and the -Aled Jones- operatic singer contestant singing' i wont do that'-meatloaf?
(i don't like him either, just remembered name Rhydian)though it was more a contest between sharon and dani minogue on how well they'd think he'd do...he's not likely to win a recording contract on the x-factor,unless he murders the other contestants..so both of them have lost the bet reallly...
(sharon has been noted for doing that to the very first x-factor show finalist slagging him off on the panel, steve?..and getting personal just after he sang...
and people say it's cowell with the problem...i beg to differ..
do i watch the x-factor...er..NO!..: -)....
liked the one who sang nothing compares to you....and the first time in a competion her father wasnt there (had died)..beautiful voice..and doesn't show off..wasnt sure about that heaven song by that bloke..even tho it was for his parents...(it is a singing contest after all...it's not his voice it's the song didn't go with him..)

| X Factor 2007 Posted: 10/21/2007 11:23:46 AM | I have to agree with Tactiles choices and I dont think it should have been Kimberley to go last night. I think she did well and put on a good show which is more than can be said for most of the rest of them. They were all singing songs which were deff not right for their voices and the clothes left a hell of a lot to be desired. Emily (think thats her name) the young girl looked a complete state, god knows what they were thinking of.
I think Rydian has a good voice and was very entertaining last night though i hardly think you sing a song like that with a liberace type jacket on
I think Sharon was very unprofessional the way she stormed off in the huff (or was upset) its a tv show for god sake and she knows how it works. Could it be that it was because it was two of her acts in the bottom two. I think she only has herself to blame for that as she picked the songs etc. She also makes it pretty obvious which ones whe likes and doesnt like and its a but uncomfortable watching her make catty comments etc. She should have learned her lesson when she did it with Steve a couple of eyars ago and the guy went on to win it, most likely got lots of sympathy votes because of the way she spoke to him.
Erm as you can see i dont take it seriously in the slightest
VVVVV Sad this is your most likely totally right lol
|
| X Factor 2007 Posted: 10/21/2007 11:40:56 AM | i'm still living in hope a big fat airplane drops from the sky on the x factor boot camp
last night i was out voted and i had to sit through it....what a culmination of totally talentless tossers!.........is that it?.......is that the best our country can provide for a potential new musical artist?
take me back to the student union bar where real talent can be enjoyed

| X Factor 2007 Posted: 10/21/2007 11:53:21 AM | The stylist should be shot on all counts... it was an appalling job... even though Beverley wore a great frock, they should have checked the camera angles for the underwear - jeez...
Sharon was legendary as a manager and I've met a few people that have been at the receiving end of Mrs O's temper. Bear in mind that Steve may have had the sympathy vote but then sank without trace... His single reached No 1 but wasn't that after it was promoted as being for charity She did not like having been seen to select bad songs for her girls - and having let them down as well as herself would have stung. As someone else has already mentioned Leona's performance just highlighted what a raw bunch it currently is...
Niki was the one who did a good job last night IMHO, but I doubt I'll be watching come the finale... Dermot? Loving your work babe -M-
Edit: VVV I'm not excusing her behaviour & agree that it is not the most professional at best... With Steve, her ill chosen remarks at the time - likening him to a Volvo- did backfire as the lesser of the contestants ended up winning, but in that case I believe her opinion of his talent was valid.
|
| X Factor 2007 Posted: 10/21/2007 12:08:47 PM | not professional to not take things on the chin...i think sharon was drunk...and that isn't excusing her behaviour either....it's not legendary to be rude when your future isn't in the balance like the contestants.. what she (sharon) or louie didn't like is cowell being ahead of them,in the first x-factor when steve was fave to win....wasn't just my opion at the time..she even said something about his car after he'd sung... 'sour grapes' sharon that you drank too many of last night, and other occasions!
i watch it for light entertainment...i don't seriously think that any of them will become the michael jacksons or madonnas of longevity..including steve: )
pop idols and girls aloud with exception...then again louie does well with boy bands and girl ones too!: )

| X Factor 2007 Posted: 10/21/2007 12:19:52 PM | Saw this thread, so switched on the results on ITV2.
OMG...........what a drama queen, Sharon O is! Announcing she is leaving the show (in the biggest tantrum I've seen), when two young girls were about to find out if they were having to leave. Talk about 'keep the spotlight on me!'.
I happened to see her do her queen of the b1tches act (or is it?), when Steve Brookstein (sp?) was on a previous series. The woman is so two faced. Shall I go on? Aren't her family in one of those live tv thingy's? Say no more....................
vvvvv Didn't I hear that Mrs O had her stomach stapled, followed by cosmetic surgery? Feel free to correct me if I am wrong.
|
| X Factor 2007 Posted: 10/21/2007 12:23:02 PM | | Would anybody here have any sexual carry ons with Sharon Osbourne? I have seen pictures of her in one of the daily newspapers and sometimes i think she looks rather fetching for a big boned lady. I wouldn't touch her daughter though unless she lost around 4 stone. Or maybe 3. | |
|
| X Factor 2007 Posted: 10/21/2007 12:31:08 PM | Nopervs you are right. Sharon has had her stomach stapled in fact she has had loads done and still has botox etc. If you had seen her a few years ago you would not have given her a second look. She was so frumpy and old fashioned. She looked about twn years older than her actual age. I thought she was well out of order last night. She should have been thinking of those girls and not herself | |
|
| X Factor 2007 Posted: 10/21/2007 12:32:37 PM | she is an attractive lady^^^^plastic or not...44: )
and message 43...(if you read messages 38-41?-42)...your one 43 and then this one...i agree with your sentiments exactly...whether you like a contestant or not...when you have been in the business like mrs O...to get over yourself...she must be going through a second, third fourth menopause each time she has a face lift, as she takes it out on the contestants...
|
| X Factor 2007 Posted: 10/21/2007 12:40:04 PM | have to say watched it in the beginning missed a lot in the middle due to work and watched a little of it last night and cant believe they are the last 12 if thats all they can come up with then i think its the end of the x factor there isnt one in the 12 that i would say has it they are all the mediocre singers nothing special at all | |
|
| X Factor 2007 Posted: 10/21/2007 1:23:16 PM | | Leona Lewis was totally amazing last night! | |
|
| X Factor 2007 Posted: 10/22/2007 5:04:53 AM | | I actually think the wrong one of the 2 got booted out ( cant remember their names yet) but thought the one who got to stay completely wrecked the song and at least the bar maid has a personality.noone really standing out from the rest yet all pretty mediocre but thought nikki was best on night although im getting fed up with the sob story EVERY time she is interviewed. sharon was abit of a dram queen but i still think she is FABULOUS and good luck to her after having the surgery i think she looks amazing. | |

| X Factor 2007 Posted: 10/22/2007 5:31:23 AM |
Who else is addicted to XF?
No, it is the worst thing I have ever seen on Television.. Hate the concept and the programme.. What happened to good old Television talent shows like new faces? :frustrated:
Anyone got any comments on the final 6 or those who didn't make it tonight?
You got the Andy Warhol 15minutes of fame, now go away..
|
| X Factor 2007 Posted: 10/22/2007 6:06:24 AM | | Well, i think the x factor is very poor this year....so i dont think i will be watching it......i am very dissapointed. boooooox | |
|
| X Factor 2007 Posted: 10/22/2007 8:37:46 AM | Snap! I thought it was a pile of poo. Seriously shitter than last year so far. Do you think anybody is on a par with Leona Lewis? Hmmm doubt it. Even my favourite Daniel was pants. I think i may turn over and watch Strictly come dancing... yes i am that sad. | |
