Again this week we have a drama, Emily is forced to "retire" through default, high jinks, bad behaviour or whichever version of events you choose to believe.
The 2 to be in the bottom group for me tonight were Andy & Alisha, will wait for the next instalment in half an hour to see if I'm right.
Bev was by far the best closely followed by Hope & Niki, the others just made up the numbers for me. | |

I agree with you re Andy being in the bottom two tonight not too sure who with though as I thought Alisha was good. I disagree with you re Hope, I thought the song tonight was pretty rubbish and they are trying to be another Girls Aloud with the sexy clothes etc and its not working but we shall see in half an hour or so.
I may be in the minority but i thought Rydian was brilliant. A total showman and a great voice as well. Very entertaining as not many people could have got away with that but he pulled it off!! | |

Yes, I agree, FP were not the worst nor did they deserve to go but Simon had no choice between the 2 having already stated Hope were his tip for the top from this years show.

What happened to the cute one with the great voice, big fat lump ! Was still impressed with them though, must be my age !
I must say that Leona was excellent on that other show last night, the Divas thing, but the girl needs some personality seriously.
On topic, my favourite last night was Alisha. I've been waiting for her to be given the right song and she was so much better last night for it.
Rhydian is just a joke, wasting time and the stupid voters' money.
I think Hope should have gone, all that's keeping them in is the half nakedness and yet more of the same, turning young girls into little tarts to sell CDs. The boys were much better vocally, but they don't want competition for Westlife now do they?! | |

I have heard people singing who auditioned and never made it in front of the judges, there are 3-4 interviews with other people before that stage, and believe me they are way better than the gobshites that get in front of simon etc. Its all just for show!!
Alisha is in the bottom for 2 weeks running and the judges ignore that and dump Andy and suddenly in the third week she is through no problem. And then on Saturday night - those girls beating Futureproof - what a con!!
Now I shall get off my soapbox!!

I personally think he has a brilliant voice and his performance of the Meatloaf classic was outstanding. He is very unhappy with the producers of the X Factor as i believe they decided on his spikey hair, pale make up and ridiculous clothes. Apparently this week we are going to see the "real" Rhydian, whatever that means. Love him or hate him you have to admit he has talent. And if Sharon would stop the unfair catty remarks and concentrate on her own sorry crew of one, then she might actually make some progress in the competition this year.
