I also have always had something (keys, a bottle opener, something in my pocket to use as a weopon if I felt in the least bit wary) when walking about. Thankfully, never had to use.

your keys are also a great self defense tool... I agree. A key sticking out between each finger (between your second and third knuckles) and the keychain in your fist are a bonus if something happens and you don't have anything else.

I was sort of just joking when I said about the triangle choke thing, but there are actually times in a real situation where a choke is the perfect move. Obviously not if you're being ganged up on, but in a 1-on-1 situation, I've choked people out before.

Posted: 5/1/2008 5:14:13 PM | I understand that Jonathon!. ;0) If you out weigh your opponent by several stone,it may be possible!are you talking about in the cage? however on your own ,the last thing you want to do ,is tie youself up . Grappling -all things being equal a female has no chance of beating a man twice her size!!, even men struggle with that one. And to the previous post, although you are joking!you are very close to what alludes you!!

| 4 Self-Defense Tips... Just in Case ... Posted: 5/1/2008 6:52:44 PM | I'm actually talking about on the street. Several times I've had to choke someone out to prevent myself from doing a lot of damage that would be more costly in the end.
I definitely agree that a woman vs man situation, she's better off not being tied up close. I'm just sort of running my mouth a bit, haha.
