| Corny anime you like
Posted: 10/28/2008 9:13:41 AM | I'm an old Dragon Ball Z fanatic. Vegeta FTW. He's so much more badass than Goku... and probably has the most epically awesome yet corny line in anime ever (Old English Dub):
Nappa: "Vegeta??! What does the scouter say about his Power Level?!"
Vegeta: "ITS OVER NINE THOUSANNDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD" ~crushes scouter~
Nappa: "What?! NINE THOUSAND?! There's no way that could be right!" | |

Posted: 11/27/2008 10:32:10 PM | i think the most corny anime ive seen is the early episodes of trigun. vash the stampede is a bad ass. also some other stuff that ive started and i think is corny is m.a.r. (marchen awakens romance). i mean come on a weakling nerd gets sucked into another universe or world (its been awhile since ive seen it) that he fantizes about....
but some i do like that isnt corny, atleast in my opion. is intial d, fullmetal alchemist (it can be corny at times) rurouni kenshin. theres a few others that im just not able to think of.
but what got me hooked on anime when i was a kid was ronin warriors. i would race home from school just to watch them on tv. though i watch that now and i think man this is so corny. then about the time they took that off pokemon came out. well living where i did, out in the middle of nowhere with not much to do i watched alot of tv. i also would have to add pokemon to the corny list. | |
