| Clear nail polish Posted: 10/8/2007 1:31:59 PM | FilmScorpio.. I just want to point one thing out. Men were wearing earrings and heels for a long time before women.
SilverSurfer... I happen to enjoy a man who takes good care of himself. There is also a matte finish polish that many men opt for so as not to appear too foppish. Personally.. I don't care one way or another.. just so long as he isn't prettier then me... hehehe!

| Clear nail polish Posted: 10/8/2007 1:36:37 PM | FilmScorpio Ive checked out your profile and In one of your pictures you are wearing a ring on your pinky ...Now to me...that looks slightly camp.
All I can say is If I saw you and silversurfer1 stood next to each other and someone told me one of you was gay...I would assume It was you.
Anyway. I wouldnt personally want to see a guy Im with putting on nail varnish of any kind.
Though I really really hate guys with long, unkept nails.
So Out of the two...Id choose nail varnish anyday.

| Clear nail polish Posted: 10/8/2007 1:47:18 PM | If my guy has clear nailpolish on his nails... then something is wrong. There is no reason why his nails should have more care towards them than his room... then again we still are young. But, all joking aside, I dont know, I used to paint my nails like crazy, every now and then each nail would be a different color, I'd do holiday colors, and a lot of pinks. If he painted his nails that would be weird.... He comes home from work covered in cement mix and sweat, so yea that would defiantely be an odd one. | |

| Clear nail polish Posted: 10/8/2007 1:50:03 PM | Woman what do you think about men who wear clear nail polish?
I don't think it matters much what women think. This question would be better asked of the gentleman's boyfriend/s.

Oh, please. Those are those creepy little "goth" kids, going through a phase, trying to fit in with the other creepy kids, probably doing drugs and cutting themselves, idolizing The Crow and the guy from The Cure, and acting all depressed because they're 16 or 17 and no one understands them and they hate society. Wah wah....
Sorry, but no. None were goth. None wore all black, none wore make-up, none cut themselves, none were depressed, and none are confused teenagers, they were all adults. But my, aren't you quick to jump to conclusions then go off on a whole rant about it.
You should try crawling out of your box some time. Theres a whole world of indiviuals out here that do things, and dress for THEMSELVES, not for what society and close-minded people like you tell them to do. Lots of people who don't generalize something as gay then avoid it at all costs and accuse anyone who does like it as being gay.

| Clear nail polish Posted: 10/8/2007 1:58:17 PM | hahah, I used to for a while. This stuff to help strengthen nails.
I also used to play classical guitar back then as well, so yeah, a broken nail was real bad news.

| Clear nail polish Posted: 10/8/2007 1:58:35 PM | I don't like it when men wear nail polish. I think that there is a line between good grooming and ....men wearing nail polish... I also am not attracted to metrosexuals. I like manly men. If they need to dress up for their job, they can still have clean short nails that don't have nail polish. It is not a choice between scraggly dirty fingernails and nails with polish on them | |

| Clear nail polish Posted: 10/8/2007 2:23:21 PM | | It's clear coat not colored nail polish. Once again nothing wrong with being well groomed. | |

| Clear nail polish Posted: 10/8/2007 2:34:44 PM | i am a nail tech and it is getting more and more commen for men to take care of their nails.clear nail varnish or certain treatments do help the growth and health of nails , wether its for men or women.i personally would prefer a mans well kept hands all over my body than a dirty , well chewded , disgusting pair.just cos he has clear nail varnish does nt mean he s any less of a man or gay !!!!! think about it if his nails and hands are well groomed , he s more likely to take care of the more interesting parts of his body
who s has the right to judge ??
paint away , who cares xx

| Clear nail polish Posted: 10/9/2007 4:32:14 AM | IM STILL SAYING "WHAT THE......" !!!

| Clear nail polish Posted: 10/9/2007 11:43:04 PM | | Cardinal rule in my "man" book. Soft hands on a man give me the frissons. You'd have to be from Louisiana to understand a frisson. Not a good thing. Manicured nails on a man, nopenopenope. A little too in touch with his feminine side. | |
|
| Clear nail polish Posted: 10/10/2007 1:08:10 AM | | dam..i still wear black nailpolish to this day n im 28..sometimes just for shows..sometimes just for the hell of it..nothing wrong with it..doesnt mean ur gay or anything like that..more likely to think the "metrosexual" guys are gay before someone that paints theyre nails..its nothin more than a fashion thing..no more..no less..ive never done the whole eyeliner and all that..but hey..to each theyre own.. | |

| Clear nail polish Posted: 10/10/2007 5:42:00 PM | I see nothing wrong with it. Looks like he probably takes care of himself.
Just because a girl doesnt do something doesnt mean a guy cant. I dont use Nair on my body hair, doesnt mean a guy can't.

| Clear nail polish Posted: 10/10/2007 5:56:36 PM | | I have dated a few guys that get mani's and pedi's regularly but not to the extent of clear polish. Although, I see no problem with it, it shows that you care about your appearance. | |
|
| Clear nail polish Posted: 10/10/2007 6:02:07 PM | | Yeah that would be a little too girly man for me .I am all for a man taking care of himself but nail polish ,for me , is just going way to far. Now i did say that for me it's too much. That is only my opinion and views on this topic. | |

| Clear nail polish Posted: 10/10/2007 6:49:26 PM | I know this big Army Sergeant who gets a clear coat on his nails. I can't pay attention to what he says because I'm so distracted by the polish. I think it's really bizarre.
Even when rockers where black nail polish I find it to be weird.
|
| Clear nail polish Posted: 10/10/2007 8:32:09 PM | The way I see it, hell yeah, go on baby, wear clear nail polish! Then afterwards I'll get him to do MY nails! Ohh, I see a slave in the making. I like, I like. | |

Real men do not wear nail polish, ever!
Many "real" men (as you put it) wear clear nail polish. Distinguished and well established gentlemen who enjoy indulging in a manicure and a pedicure are just one class who are known to wear clear nail polish. A "real" man is secure enough with his sexuality to not be scared to take care of his body, including his hands and fingers.

| Clear nail polish Posted: 10/10/2007 9:47:34 PM | | I think he looks elegant, well groomed and high class. I've taken my son for manicures (he has his nails buffed to a high gloss) and when we're done his hands look regal. | |
|
| Clear nail polish Posted: 10/11/2007 7:29:23 AM | | NOOOOOOOO! I don't want my man wearing nail polish. Why would he be doing that anyway? To make his nails shine? No!!!! Huh-uh.... Nope. I don't even wear nail polish all the time. Got puny nails and they split if I keep 'em polished. But that's beside the point. No his 'n hers nail polish. "...taking care of his body..." is fine. Just don't polish his nails. | |
|
| Clear nail polish Posted: 10/11/2007 8:12:36 AM | homophobe. Me thinks the film fellow doth protest too much.
My guy wears black nail polish on occaison. And eyeliner too. I think it's hot.
And I'm pretty sure, stand em side by side (not name callin, you know who you are), who'd pull more chicks.
And yeah, he is totally not gay, goth or emo.
I'm just saying.
