outside my hotel window
on this sunny afternoon
a tropical breeze sways them
with a gentle gust below
looks like a storm is headed soon
i think back to yesterday
when you were here with me
we went scuba-diving in
the clear blue ocean off the
isle of maui
it was magical experience
tropical fish and sea life
swimming around us while
we made love under a corral reef
we had the time of our lives
the others on the boat not
knowing what was going on beneath
who knew when we met yesterday morning
our eyes meeting as we were
sunbathing on the deck
that we fall in love the moment
i put lotion on your neck
you had to go early this morning
you got a call you were needed
at your job in new york
i went with you to the airport
you cried and said you loved me
and give me a call went you were done work
you called when you got there and
you were in a terrible fright
you were in the towers when they
were burning....you said good bye
my love i will miss you the rest of my life
