valley back to life
as the sun sets over the valley
the river breaks through its banks
spreading over the dry wasteland
feeding its thirst for water
and breathing new life
into its heartland
the river finally runs its course
tomorrow trees will stand where
they never stood before
the river being its life force
flowers will blossom from rain the
old man has provided along with light
he has planted them in his
image to last forever their
buds will spring eternal life
