the tribe spanked the sox quite a few times in regular season. i say the tribe to win in a full count!!!

don't forget, the tribe was pummeled by the yankees in regular season but they went on to win 3- 1 in the series. we are on a course with DESTINY!!!

^^^^ Agreed. I don't really follow the AL, being a Rockies and NL fan, but nobody can beat a team hitting .500 with 2 outs and RISP unless they can keep just about everyone off base. The Red Sox pitching isn't that much better than the Indians (if it's better to begin with). Cleveland needs to stay hot and take it in five or six. If they can somehow get it to a seventh game, Boston has the advantage.

That was easy. Now if we can just get espn and everyone else to stop talking about A-Rod, Torre, and the Yankees. They're freakin' done, already! Just like the Mets, which they have thankfully stopped talking about practically non-stop. Damn east coast media...

Yup, Sabathia got bombed big, but it's only one game. It is one of baseball's curiosities when a top flight player doesn't seem able to perform come playoff time.

If the Indians can bounce back tonight it's down to a 5-game series in which Cleveland has the home field advantage. They just need to win (at least) one in Boston, and they know the sooner the better.

It s*cks. Red Sox just gave the game away. This is one problem all New England teams always had. They are ahead by only 1 or runs, and the players start to relax.

I knew this is going to happen sooner or later. Let me explain. In the first game Sox had 12 hits and 10 runs, but Indians had '8 hits' and only 3 runs. So, the Indians were hitting Sox pitchers all right but they were not scoring. That's why I knew Sox pitching would break down later in other games.

I'm so mad, if Patriots lose today to Dallas, I wouldn't watch them until playoffs.

I don't know, but despite on what happened in last nights game between the Red Sox and the Indians, I still feel that the Sox will rebound. Colorado seems unstoppable and now that they are playing in Denver, they may really turn things up against the D-Backs.

I think it will be a Rocks vs Sox World Series. Thats just a humble and very conservative prediction.

Nice to see the Tribe come back and fight, this is what I like to see. I want as much baseball as possible, it is going to be over too soon.

Now if we can just get espn and everyone else to stop talking about A-Rod, Torre, and the Yankees. They're freakin' done, already!

Doesn’t matter, never going to happen, just think about how saturated us AL and division rival fans get with the Yankees rammed down our throats daily, you just got to deal with it.

<--Favorite Player: Jason Veritek

On a personal note, Varitek is my favorite catcher in the AL and he has the best butt in the majors!

I am sure the TV moguls would like the Sox to stay in, not sure if the ratings will be as good without a “power” team on the bill.

I love how Varitek wears his socks!! You can always tell its him up to bat. Once upon a time they all wore them like that til the Manny Ramirez look became popular. (Baggy trousers).

My fave player is Youkilis, and my fave Pitcher is Papelbon. My Papelbon shirt is on the way, just in time for the world series!

hahahaha..

Anyone here has the feeling women watch baseball for completely different reasons than we guys watch baseball?
They have a favorite player, we have a favorite in field home run.
They have a favorite clothing item, we have a favorite sliding catch.
They have a favorite look of a player, we have a favorite 9th innings hit.
...
List goes on. But the good thing is they watch the game.

I'm so glad Patriots today beat the sh*t out of Dallas.

The Tribe played an outstanding game . I have to say the bullpen did a fantastic job. There is no doubt our bullpen is better then what the sox's have. Wedge did a great job of coaching. This just may be what we need to spark the tribe. No doubt a win under thier belt will relax them more now and they can concentrate on getting the job done which we all know is to make it to the WORLD SERIES!!!!!!!!!!

Go Tribe keep those bats going.
Go Browns a fine game today.

Sports in Cleveland is the best

Cleveland we love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Having watched my team (Braves) go down the pan again this season, I am all for the Sox, they are an awsome team and I will be following them all the way to the world series!!

Had the Braves been able to hold it together this season, it would be a difficult choice for me, glad I don't have to make that decision now!!

Go Sox !!!!

Badabing, Badabang!

Manny and Papi, and a shot of Lowell!

Ouch.

Cleveland, say hello to Red Sox Nation!

(The bench just wanted to see the middle part of the country so this was the only way to get them there - we'll leave Gagne for the midges)
