| In looking for a relationship on POF, have you run into this before? Posted: 11/27/2007 10:46:22 AM | Getting someone's attention is the WHOLE purpose of a profile. It is pretty difficult to stand out from the others. A few people have complemented my ability to write and have let me know. I guess it raised my hackles that anyone would ASSUME good writer is a player. But it is really nice to know that there are people that appreciate gifts that others seem to have.
It may not attract another guy, but it does work for the type of women that seek a mental connection and not just bulging muscles, bare chests, beer and bikes.

Well thought-out, sincere, open and honest writing has its advantages . . But, if the recipient isn't open to discussion . . or just too picky or conceited to reply . . then it was a Good Effort Wasted . . I think my Profile is sufficiently creative and even amusing, to a point . . and if I make the effort to write to someone . . I expect S O M E form of reply . . Not just ' Read/Deleted ' . . !! To each their own . . but At Least have the courtesy of a Polite rejection . . !! . . . .
