| Guys with facial hair. Posted: 5/23/2008 9:06:45 PM | It's all whether a man can pull it off or not! Younger men look dashing with a bit of facial hair. Older guys, when it's grey or white, it ages you: most women don't really want to date Santa. And when half of your meal is embedded in it, it's not just the skin scrape we're afraid of! A freshly shaven face tells me a man put a little effort into his looks for me...and that's always appreciated. | |

| Guys with facial hair. Posted: 5/24/2008 12:04:57 AM | I tend to let it grow when its cold out, keeps my face warmer. Also,I spend a lot of time working, and outside,so shaving is one of those things that gets left to the last minute, and I am usually too tired so I go to bed without shaving I have had complaints about it when I kiss,so if she find it a problem,I don't mind shaving every day,no big deal. But I don't like being compared to clean cut hollywood types,IMO no woman thats of an age that would date me should care about that. The fact is,men have hair on their face, and it requires work to keep it off.So either accept it,or date guys with no testosterone(better hide you're panties) | |

| Guys with facial hair. Posted: 5/24/2008 3:20:40 AM | I bloody love my beard. My ex even said she liked it! In fact most of the gals I've been with seem to like it, and so do I. *grin | |

Gals - Do you like beards? or don't you? I've always really really liked beards! Does it go back to biblical times, I've often wondered?! And I think most men look so handsome with a beard too. My men have always had beards at least for part of the year - one who shaved it for the summer and grew it back in the winter. Does it scratch? A real beard doesn't scratch, I don't think, nearly as much as the 5:00 shadows that are just a killer! Sadly, I love that look, but I can't go anywhere near it. I think it actually depends on how the hair grows on each man, meaning what direction, etc. For it's not all the same - my last man, no matter how long or short he grew any facial hair, it always killed to kiss him and be kissed because I felt like a pin cushion (needless to say that relationship did not last long :). The other thing I don't go for is the billy goat look....when men grow their beards really long and straggly.....hmmm...nope not attracted to the zztop look!

And there was me thinking about growing a zz-top one. Damn. Might still do it tho' ;)

| Guys with facial hair. Posted: 5/24/2008 7:15:07 AM | Never thought about it being more manly, just never learned how to shave. I could count on one hand the times I have been clean shaven in my lifetime. Then only by request of a brothers/friends wife to be in their wedding. It never took long for it to grow back. | |

| Guys with facial hair. Posted: 5/24/2008 10:36:19 AM | I will never grow my facial hair out to the point where it appears that there is a beard. Those are so hard to shave sometimes. You have to really watch out that you don't cut yourself when you shave along your throat just under your chin, because you don't want to get a cut there as it can bleed easy sometimes and there are major arteries and veins there, that is ONE of the reasons I don't like the facial hair. I occasionally have that "5-oclock shadow" thing going, but thats as far as I let the hair grow, as it relates to my throat area. IF I do facial hair, it is only a soul patch or that chin beard and that's all. I have sideburns, but I don't neccessarily count that as facial hair, thats more of an extention of ones head hair. I just like myself to be clean shaven, I feel the best then.
women don't really want to date Santa.
Well then don't expect to get any presents from him this Christmase if you feel that way!! LOL jk

What! Where are these girls? I have stubble all the time and I don't get any complimentry comments: quite the opposite. They say I look mean. Going for the goatee right now though.

|
| Guys with facial hair. Posted: 5/24/2008 8:35:10 PM | | I tend to prefer men with facial hair. Usually goatees but I've seen many a good looking man with a full on beard. | |
|
| Guys with facial hair. Posted: 5/25/2008 9:45:46 AM | Last time I tried to grow enough facial hair to form a beard, I passed out for a long time. Woke up and I found a community centre had been built around me. Very strange, but true story. And by true I mean totally bogus. | |

| Guys with facial hair. Posted: 5/25/2008 1:30:27 PM | I recently been seeing this guy who has a mustache and it tickles when he kisses, I just said I smile but wanted to laugh out loud. oopse | |

| Guys with facial hair. Posted: 5/25/2008 7:08:40 PM | Well, I for one find bearded men sexy . Of course I'm talking about the neatly trimmed ones And I've never had a problems with kisses either. BUT, the morning/afternoon shadow can be rough Facial hair being more manly? I don't know....I think it depends more on the man's attitude rather than whether or not he has facial hair. Cheap and lazy, nah, takes more time to keep the beard clean, trimmed, ect than it does to just go ahead and shave the whole face, from what I've seen anyway. JMO | |

| Guys with facial hair. Posted: 5/25/2008 7:49:07 PM | I'm not a fan of mustaches and beards. They make a man look older than his years and that is not a good thing.I don't want someone looking too much older than me.. | |
|
| Guys with facial hair. Posted: 6/7/2008 6:50:25 AM | I agree men look much older with facial hair. I will not look at a profile with a man that has facial hair. I don't think men look very clean with all that hair on there face. I have very sinsitive skin and my face gets a rash. Old men please shave.

| Guys with facial hair. Posted: 6/7/2008 10:15:21 AM | Karen,
I'm right there with you girlfriend. The men in my age vicinity mostly look like Santa. I don't get it. (Actually, THEY don't get it). And it's irritating. Guys tell me they trim their facial hair which means it tends to poke into your face even more!
When I kiss someone I like to feel their face not some receptacle for bacteria. ewwwwww.
One reason why I tend to favor military men. They're usually in great physical condition and clean shaven. Oh Baybee. Bring it on!
Bless you for having the guts to speak out and try to inform the opposite sex. I see they aren't listening but they're sure doing a lot of back-talk.

| Guys with facial hair. Posted: 6/7/2008 11:16:56 AM | asking us to shave or manliness off is like asking you to grow your beaver hair into a fro .............thanks but im a man an i love my facial hair an will not part from it | |
|
| Guys with facial hair. Posted: 6/7/2008 11:36:49 AM | I like both... BUT I will definately notice a man with facial hair (trimmed nice) first. That is one of my turn ons... I think it's a sexy look, a little rugged but still clean enough. AND lets not forget about the hairy belly & chest... thats just yummy | |

| Guys with facial hair. Posted: 6/7/2008 11:40:02 AM | I disagree with the post that grey makes them look like santa! I dig a little grey in there... | |

| Guys with facial hair. Posted: 6/8/2008 10:55:46 AM | I will not shave off my beard just because any woman asks me too as that would be like me asking her to go get a boob job.
I will though allow a lady to trim it a little if she likes and I feel confident enough in her ability and she shows true interest in me as a person she wants to be with.
