saying that it's been proven without providing links doesn't help open people's minds. demanding proof doesn't mean someone with proof is willing to provide it, but makes you look like a demanding and impatient person.

My ex and I sometimes played a game where I'd think of an object (such as a ping pong ball) and he'd try to guess what it is (in this case, he said it was something light and jumpy). My ex-boyfriend and I shared the same dreams at the same time, while at the opposite corners of the Earth, then we'd call each other and continue where we had left it at the dream. When my kid was playing at a mall's playground unsupervised and a police officer found out and became very concerned, that very second I RAN to the playground to meet him. See the last paragraph of my profile on spatial orientation. Can go on and on...
Many times, I've been talking to someone without looking at them, and noticed the sudden change in their mood (e.g. grattitude, or trust, or sadness, or happiness). I did not see it with my eyes or ears, what did I see it with?
Had a fantastic experience with a psychic girl I've met on a street; never had a good experience with a paid psychic though. | |

Back when I was an atheist.. minding my own business and having a smoke break with a guy from work.. all of a sudden all I could see was his bright yellow aura! I couldn't believe it.. quite literally, so I put the whole thing out of my mind... that was my first instance of percieving something outside of what I could explain using logic... but since then there have been many, many more..
It either comes as a sudden knowing, a feeling that I cannot shake and even sometimes a voice.... and no, I don't have schizphrenia, lol.... but what I have learned is that the experiences come more often when I let go of any preconcieved notions and just trust...
Often the information I "recieve" leaves me stunned at the accuracy... I have also noticed that it comes and goes like a wave.. one I have learned to ride as opposed to control...
I am not submitting my experiences as though they should be taken as proof... nor am I claiming to be psychic.. I think that everyone can have these experiences.. you just need to be open and willing.. Jmo :) | |

I have precognative dreams. Usually nothing important - just mundane conversations or a routine scene. Sometimes it will take years for the dream to come true - the first time I really started paying attention was in '81. I had a dream in '79 that I wrote down because it was so weird and did not make any sense at the time. In 1981, the exact scene played out in real time. It is freaky and cool. I just wish I knew how to use it better. My brother has the same ability.
One time, my boyfriend's dad died suddenly. I was home alone and heard (in my head) a woman scream "ED, NO!" (My boyfriend had the same name.) I freaked out thinking something had happened to my Ed. Moments later, his mother was calling me, practically incoherent, hysterically telling me that the hospital just called and Ed's dad was dying.
My mother sees auras. She never realized that other people didn't see them until she took an art class. She was doing a portrait and included the aura she saw around the model. The teacher asked her what effect she was going for and that was when she realized she was seeing something other folks don't. She doesn't like to talk about it.
I think there is so much in the universe that is unknowable to us and that we shouldn't dismiss something just because we can't understand it. | |

Posted: 7/14/2008 7:05:34 AM | I have had the experiences. I dreamed of an accident that my bf was headed towards if he left my house one day and he was ,mad as heck as I kept him later than he wanted.
As he rode his Harley home he saw the accident just as I told him because he slowed down on the curve. If he had left when he wanted he would have been hit by a tractor trailer. He never doubted again. The same BF and his mom and brother were home over 200 miles from me in NY, and went down stairs one night late as his brother "saw" me on the couch where I slept when visiting. Mom, covered me and brother looked outside as the house is locked, and saw no car, so they were going to ask in the morning how I got there..
When they got up I was not there, the blanket was and I had never left home, I had the flu.
Did it twice to them and once they"saw" me with many friends at a bowling alley and were angry because I just walked by them.
I was not there and was camping with my folks and my mom told them so later.

I beleive it exists but don't beleive in the majority of people claiming psychic ability nor in most of the more comon ideas of what abilities exist and don't exist.

Do you think we all have it or not?
Yes and no. I beleive that some abilities are shared by all (such as seeing and reading
auras/energy feilds/chi/temr of your choice). I beleive that others are determined by bloodline (such as seguinarian, genetic witch - not to be confused with hollywood witch, also the 7 abilities mentioned in the bible such as casting out demons - none of those abilities are held by all).
If you have, what happened?
This is going to be a long list. I will answer them as to how I preceived them and won't say which ones I am more open to the possability of incorrect perseption than others.
Aura healing - spotting a void of arua that coincided with pain in the back and manipulating existing aura so as to fill in the void. I didn't get it right at first, an increased the void causing more pain. After I got it right the pain went away.
Alter facial perception (for lack of a better word) - This one is a heightened perception
rather than being somethign others simply don't do. The emotional and mental state of the person alters the physical appearance of the face, making something like deep rooted hidden sorrow (or any other emotion or state) as blunt and blatent as someone who is sad and crying.
Seeing spirit beings (for lack of concrete evidence as to the form and origin, I refer to them as ghosts and demons. If I call something a ghost it doesn't mean I beleive it is something derived from a dead person. It could be a lesser demon, or who knows what) in their true form. It's like seeing aura, except the aura is an entity in itself as opposed to part of a physical being.
Absorption and dissintegration of ghosts. Someone I know used to live in a house that was haunted (herself, her dad, her mom, a freind of hers, and her step mom have all seen them and the effects. They eventually had to move out). One day that she visited me she was possed by 2 of them. I searched her aura till I found and isolated them. They left her body, were spooking the crap out of her and hiding from me (I'm not even capable of perceiving the creepy images that most see as far as I can tell). I was eventually able to corner them, absorb their energy, and disintegrate it. In this particular case, I had some aid from another source which I perceived as her dead mother. This was my first time doing this, in the future it was all me from what i could tell.
Run ins with spirit beings that were more powerfull than ghosts. I can't go into details because it is not safe to acknowledge the existance of one of the things involved.
Sheilding from psychic attacks. I went into a buissness geared towards people of a genetic lineage that has a bad history with my genetic lineage. I was woozy and had a slight headach for a little while after I left, but was able to block out most of the energy and prevent more serious effects.
Danger sense (that's what I like to call it anyway). It's like intuition but stronger. Kind of like Spiderman's spidey sense.
Anti awareness. This one was used on me, not by me. At an IHOP I walked right past a guy without ever noticing anyone was even there. It wasn't until returning that I spotted him, and boy was there alot of malice in his eyes. I should have seen him from the start just based on taking up a large portion of my feild of vision, much less things like danger sense.
That's everything I can recall right now. I'm just answering the question, and don't want to convince anyone of anything. I certainly don't share this stuff without being asked in some way, as that is just looking for danger.

I think it's the dumbest thing anyone could do. Especially if they don't have any abilities of their own to help determine the authenticity.

My Mom's first cousin is a well known psychic and has worked with police in Ca. many times. I've seen her being interviewed on TV in this regard, the first time was startling. I was channel surfing and stopped when I saw her, because she looks exactly like my great-grandmother. Then I began to listen to the interview and realized who she was. She and my Mom knew each other as children, but I'd never seen her, her family always lived in another state. It was sort of strange to recognise her like that.

I was in complete disbelief. my strong feeling in my stomach came true. How did I know this woulld happen...i still today have no idea.how did i know it was gonna be an 18 wheeler...I have no idea. But i knew it all. so ya i do belive in psychic ability | |

I believe it is a speculative guess based on information recieved from the spirits. I believe there are too many 'playful' spirits to depend on their communications, and too many obstacles to reasonable speculation for anything but a hint of impending events.

I talk with the spirits. They don't seem to be any more psychic than me, but they are good at haunting the boardrooms and council chambers.
Do you think we all have it or not?
No, not enough people seem to be worried about their freedom when so much information is available through the spirits. If they had the ability, they would be pretty scared about getting caught for just about anything that is even slightly unlawful.
I am not really sure if it is genetic, or a result of piety. Try eating a lot of cinnamon candy, and see if you begin to see visions.
If you have, what happened?
Mostly I see a code inscribed on things, or graphic images. I read the codes and attempt to decipher them. Sometimes the letters are so small, I can't even focus on them, and if is often an exotic yoga like body twisting event to reach the end of a message. A lot of times, it isn't worth the trouble; because the spirits are just playing silly games.
Some people go to psychics for predictions on their love lives, what do you think of that?
If the psychic is a good counsellor in affairs such as these, they are probably worth the money. If they try to predict when you will meet someone, they better have a cast of extras on the payroll.

Posted: 7/28/2008 4:15:59 PM | I've studied it for so long that I've come to the conclusion that its a sham and a fraud. It can be replicated through normal means. You don't need "psychic" powers. Thats the hard way. You can just cheat and convince people you are psychic. It's just that simple.
Just read the books by magicians and skeptics who tell the secrets of performing these magic tricks. You'll be amazed and you'll be angry that lots of "psychics" rip people off through fraud. | |
