| Colorado Springs Posted: 10/28/2008 7:50:33 PM | Hmmmm, I guess I am fish repellant or something. I mean I am just looking for friends, yet no men contact me on this site, since my return. I have been known to meet to throw a frisbee around, and believe me when I say around, that dang thing never went where I wanted it to go. I have met for a bad game of pool, but sometimes I'm not half bad. I have even done the traditional meeting of coffee or even dinner. Even just going for a walk together can be a nice meeting.
I have tried the "Meet and Greets" But, I was living in Pueblo at that time and didn't know Springs well enough to set up a good one. I see someone is trying to set one up for Halloween, but I have plans for that night.
If anyone has ay ideas of where we can set one up for next month let me know and I will try to coordinate it.

| Colorado Springs-Good men Posted: 11/16/2008 7:51:57 AM | Hey now, I am a good woman. But I can't seem to find a good man here. It seems like everyone I meet is married, or doing some kind of drugs. Are there ANY good BLACK men in Springs??? | |

| Colorado Springs Posted: 11/18/2008 5:18:29 PM | Does anyone ever do anything just for people in general? ROFL!
My boyfriend and I met here on POF... and let me tell you what! We both had to go through some rough times and some - shall we call it interim dating? - to find each other.
Remember that finding a relationship worth investing yourself in means you need to invest yourself on the first date/email/phone call/whatever. My biggest personal foible with people on POF was the lack of applied intellect to profiles, emails, etc.
Anywho. Just wanted to encourage everyone to get out there - it really does help, and sometimes it's nice to know that you're not alone in being ... well, lonely!
Wishing you good fishing, ~Mai *^_^*

| Colorado Springs Posted: 12/10/2008 9:41:17 PM | David in the Springs here... just moved here, actually. I've been here 10 days now; just got back from an awesome Wednesday night bible teaching at Freedom Church... of course, that doesn't necessarily mean that I'm "religous"; I love God, His Word, and my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ...
David pauses to take a sip of wine (Merlot)...
Just because I'm a Christian doesn't mean that I can't drink beer (or wine!), kiss a girl, or have fun... life is a balance....
Anyways... I hope that all you Fish (as in PLENTYOFFISH) are having an awesome holiday season! Stay safe, be warm, and have an amazing holiday season!

SO! Hello Colorado Springs.

| Colorado Springs - dating issues Posted: 9/30/2009 9:59:41 AM | Colorado Springs is one of the toughest places for single civilian men. Just come to grips with it and go to Denver. That’s what I did when I lived there. I’ve had more dates and ‘encounters’ (from live chance meetings – NOT online) in the first 90 days I lived here in Las Vegas than 12 years in the Springs!!
Remember folks, during peacetime, men outnumber women about 6 to 1. It’s a ‘buyers market’ for women.
My suggestions for looking to meet people in CS: Tejon Street cafes and coffee shops (Starbucks across from Acacia Park was always productive); Downtown clubs (Ritz and Southside Johnnies), and Old Town. Just regular places people go to for socializing or shopping, where the ‘meet market’ atmosphere is non-existent and chance encounters are abundant.
