| Why are you still SINGLE?
Posted: 1/19/2008 4:41:17 PM | I took an intentional break some time ago from relationships. At the time, the break was to allow me to just catch my breath and get myself centered. During my "break" time, I focused on my career, started traveling on my own, made some really great friends and really just built a life that I'm pretty happy with.
At some point, it occured to me how happy I was without the drama and durge that seemed inherent with "being in love" and and if there was a hint of a relationship budding......I'd head for the hills at mach V :)!!
I think I'm past that stage now....... The question will be if karma bites me in the butt :)! | |

Okay, I did consider it, but I've lived with a life-altering shyness complex, so that right there was a huge hindrance. Now that I'm in my mid-20's, I've almost got it beat, and now I want to find companionship... but its a huge strike against me not having experience. Most women I've had the chance to talk to loose interest when they ask about my past relationships and I say "I've had none". So yeah, that's why I'm still single. It hurts, but whatever... life goes on, and one day, I'll find someone who doesn't care about petty stuff like that. | |

No income(disability prevents me from working),no car(medical restrictions prohibit me from driving).

I met the one I wanted and he got away. Haven't met another man that even comes close, much less seems to be capable of making me forget who I want to be with, how much I loved him or how much I miss him. Until a guy comes along that I can admire, respect and love as much as I did him and is just so fantastic that I can forget the past, move on and wonder why I ever loved him in the first place, I guess I'll just have to stay SINGLE. I simply will not reach out, settle for or grab whoever comes along just so I won't be alone anymore.  | |
