The object of the mental health industry is to maintain, not cure a problem. Many times the "cure" or treatment of a condition is worse than the "mental illness" itself. The trick is to find power within yourself, and not use these vampires as a crutch. If a person can't walk down the painful road to recovery themself, then they do not fully own thier recovery. Not owning ones recovery, means they only rent it. No one can gain true independence that way. | |

Posted: 8/17/2009 7:18:50 PM | i can tell you have had break down , as youre expertise clearly shows .as those who haven't lived in hell they just dont quite get it and im sorry but you cant learn it from a book no matter how many time you read it {although have found psychology has helped me to under stand my own mental health and has helped me to become a member of the truly sane}.mental health is an unknown science and every time you read it it changes like the mind far to complicated. lobotomy was stopped because they found that they just didnt have the facilities to wipe all the bums and feed the insane by hand and not because it didnt work.as to prescribed drugs on a whole are merely a blanket cover because there are not enough resources to cope .most people ive talked to about the health service on mental health have some sort of misdiagnosis or tale of woe and behold and say the docs just haven't got a clue.comforaty is a classic example that just because they wear white coats doesn't mean the know best ,to under stand ones mind is key as is to understand our own behavior and anxieties .
ive found my key and i understand my own maddness athough get cofused which door to use far to many and then thers all the ****ing windows ,exceptance and a realisation that im not always right in the head and my thoughts are only insane when i kill people uups i cant do this anymore.
the truth is we are all different and we all cope differently and some of us servive mental illness and some dont.
if you have legal aid then you have a fool for a solicitor , although geting paid for ****ing up in some peoples mindes is not foooolissssh at all especialy if you get paid loads.if you have an open mind dont look down cos your brain will fall out, by not looking down you narrow youre preception hahahahahha cant realy win in this mad world. so cant do this anymore i give and give innnnnnn mmmm | |

He takes drugs, drinks alcohol, and smokes pot while on medication, and thinks it was the medication that was messing his mind up. | |
