Consider posting pics of someone else.....maybe a buddy that's always had luck with the ladies. Can't hurt right?

Now there's a GREAT idea. Lie to the ladies from the beginning. WTF, over?

Your "About Me" is terrible. Some examples follow:

First off, no schizophrenics, crackheads, or satan worshippers please. OCD is fine though (you probably keep things tidy). DELETE, that is turn off.

If we're eating together and you have something on your plate that looks good, then I might be inclined to steal some of it. DELETE, that's terrible.

If you can put up with that then I might put up with whatever weirdness you've got going on. And I know you have weirdness, don't lie DELETE

If you want a shot with me then you gotta bring something to the table. DELETE and stop boasting. That would turn any girl off.

Take the advice you have received and get a profile review.

Is it terrible, really?

I wouldn't call that boasting. I will say, however, that the qualities that statement implies would turn almost any girl ON if delivered in person.

Funny how REAL personal interaction actually works.

Why are you holding the infant? Your profile is not very good, in my opinion.

Having that confident self assured attitude is good. Saying the words is bad. If a guy say says, "If you want me, I demand..." Forget that, who does he think he is?

Kelley -

Yes, "if you want me, I demand..." certainly skirts arrogance, but I'm sure you're clued in enough to know that proper tone can negate the unfavorable effects of nearly any spoken word, short of explicit racial slurs and the like. Unfortunately, such tone can never be conveyed online, which is why I believe it to be a broken medium with regards to the intended function of this site and others like it.

jarmac....ever think about a picture with a paper bag over your head?

Seriously...I'm kidding! But it would be funny if nothing else

I usually answer emails as soon as I read them. That's because I tend to be blonde and forget I received them LOL

Sometimes you can tell right off that someone is not a good fit for you. I've felt that with a few guys I've chatted with in IM. If they blow you off, don't worry about it. There is someone out there that is right for you! Personally, I think most people get too uptight about sending and receiving emails. When you send one you wonder...what if this person thinks I'm too serious...or not serious enough ...or that I wanna get married? YIKES! When you don't receive one back after sending one, it just promotes that thinking.

Why can't we all, as adults, just accept an email for what it is. A way for one person to introduce themselves to someone else. We might find out that the one contacting us is our "perfect" match. OR...you might find out that you are "perfect" friends. The worst that can happen is that the two of you meet face to face and the fireworks are all duds!

If you email me....I'll respond. I respond to most every email I get from here. Just don't go thinking that my response means that our wedding should be planned in the near future!

OMG. 1RudeDude is definitely a fitting name. I was about to post a nice reply about how I am always polite enough to at least acknowledge a first email when I ran across his suggestion about sending to fatties. Then it hit me. 1RudeDude probably thinks I respond because I am a fattie, not because I am a kind person with strong ideals and a concern for the feelings of others. My winning smile and intellectual banter takes the back seat to the fact that (God forbid!) I am overweight. ACK! Bottom line...it IS frustrating to make an effort and not have the effort acknowledged, but on the other side of the coin if they are so superficial to decide immediately......who cares? Probably saved you some time and effort in the long run....
