First thing, stop posting on the OK guys thread, he can click your post or the whole post from the beginning, probably better to stop posting on this one as well since theres refrences over to there. Try the "Ask a girl" threads, no man in his right mind would be over there unless he had a question!

personally, if i saw a woman asking questions about me, i would be flattered, yes even the gay thing. the fact that you are so concerned about what he will think is comendable.

if it were me, i wouldn't let on that i knew about the posts until about the 5th date, then we could have a big laugh about it.

don't sweat it, OP.

I am more afraid of other things people will find if they google my name, then just what I posted. I would rather he didn't see this, but if he does, so be it.

What if your dating someone on this site, and you don't want them to be able to read your posts....Can you block people from seeing your posts??

Suzicutzi: I’ll give you some good advice: This is a public forum in which everything you post is archived. Which means, with Google, it’s easy to look up every single thing you have ever posted here. Some of us would do that, before dating someone, too. LOL

Many of us have written things here we may wish we could change due to misstating or bad spelling that wasn’t corrected in time. But, what is done is done -- and may pop up again years later if someone revives an old thread.

So, if you plan to kiss and tell, at least be sure it doesn’t concern someone who has access to the forums here. Else, he may come in to answer your posts about him. And, I’m hear to tell you that threads like that are very popular entertainment around here!

I like the honesty policy best....if he does find this...I just hope his feelings don't get hurt. He has my email, so as a Computer Wizard, I'm sure he had a blast with that.
Well, we'll see if he still calls!!!!

Quick, post 25 messages that don't really say much of anything you'd care if they read. Then your "last 25" wouldn't be of any interest to him anyway. LOL!!

Suzicutzi, if he sees this he will not be angry at you and most ceratinly will not be hurt. But speaking for men, he is going to be seriously Angry at your brother and father. Some things hurt mens feelings, but trust me, a man can be with a woman 10 years and love her BUT, if she says or her family says he's queer because of a photograph that will most definitely bring out anger of the highest degree and make them mad dog mean. Women are the same, let's say i was going to date a woman, but my sister and mother say her picture and said whew eew she's a lesbian because we have girls Lesb Dar. Remember i am on your side Suzi, and told you way back in this topic your brother and dad were playing with your head on this stuff. But he won't blame you Suzi, he will maybe think you are gullible.....Earl

PS...Suzi remember, you never said he was gay, it's that brother and dad that made up that silly stuff over a picture. I would never get mad at a girl if her folks pulled that unless she thought it too

^^^ not quite true, once you have emailed someone and they are on your favorites you can't hide your profile from them.

Hey Blueeyes, I think she has more problems than that..Since she is constantingly starting new threads in Ask a guy that gets more interesting each time She posts that she definately is available.. So dont' tell her it is the last 50 posts.. There is couple more tricks to finding what people post a month ago.. Dang when my mouth was in gear. There is a couple of them I am still living down.

Now the bottom line OP. is be who you are from the beginning.. Say what you think and let the chips fall where they may

don't worry about what he is going to read or not read.. Any thing on the internet is fair game..

I go and look every time someone has said their profile is hidden. It never is.

I believe I read in the help section, that hiding your profile just makes it so you won't show up in the rows of people when they log on.

OP, in this case, honesty could be the best policy. The moderators told me that the history has been upped to 50 posts. I just counted yours, and there's 50 posts. Honesty or lots of typing. Your choice.

I was thinking about this a few days ago. I have recently become addicted to the forums... My name is ____ and I am a post-a-holic... I figure if people want to know what you are about and you are active on the forums they will probably get a lot better picture than from the profile by itself...

I figure too late now... (If they see something I said in the forums that they do not like, then too bad... At least that is $AMT x number of "dates" that you did not have to spend to find out the same thing....)

I knew a long time ago not to talk about personal experiences with other members in this place.
Many members do it and I don't know if they are so naive that they think the person they are talking about won't find it.

Yeah, but if your dating someone from this site, they can know every idea coming out of your head!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :(

At least there are signs of intelligence...

Different people look for different things.

I'd rather that my personality shows, so there's no suprises.
So... I post my thoughts.
(often stuff I would never say face to face...)

Yep... I'm opinionated, sometimes judgemental and I can get sarcastic.
And if I think someone needs the Darwin award... I let them know.
