First horror film I saw in the cinema was Friday 13th part 3 in 3d, can't remember much about it, too long ago and I probably had my eyes shut!
The most recent was probably I know what you did last summer, nothing since then as I really don't like horror films and I can't hide behind a cushion in the cinema! | |

Posted: 10/30/2007 4:37:00 PM | My first horror movie was Poltergeist, special edition came out last week on DVD in the UK I believe. Anyway, I was about 8 so it woulda been around 1980. Scared the living daylights out of me and I had a night of tears because of the scene where the stuffed toy clown hides under the boys bed and then attacks him with big teeth and an evil laugh... Oh ffs I'm shivering at the thought of it lol

The one that has always spooked me is House on Haunted Hill with Roddy McDowall that is one atmospheric film. I dont find modern horror that good, seems to rely on special effects and gore rather than creating an atmosphere and suspense. Never scares me ... | |
