You kept $500 bucks in your purse and left it lying around. You talked for a year you claim (and I won't bother pointing out that 18 - 1 = 17...ooops...just did) and in all that time this kid never mentioned anything about his lifestyle ? Never heard him mention anything about the less than responsible things he might have been up to ? If not, then I have to assume that you didn't really do a heck of a lot of talking. Hell, did you even know his real name ? Where he lived ? Anything ?

But, I would not have 500 dollars sitting around in the house, if you invited someone over for an intimate encounter.....should have left it in the bank.. Unless the 500 dollars was there for a particular reason..
