Posted: 10/30/2007 10:57:39 PM | Yea I would have to agree .. desire for many woman has to do with how she " Feels " about someone. and yea her sexuality is her responsibility, But you guys know ..It should not be ALL her having to make the special dates, or trying to look good, or be creative.
Too many guys leave this ALL up to the women, It would be nice to receive a rose ect sometimes, and just be surprised once in a while.
That's what these women are talking about, it's really not guy bashing, they are speaking of their personal experiences only, and what they would like more of.
Age is only a number with this for sure...
Sure you don't see sexy commercials with people in their 60's/70's but that don't mean they are NOT doing it ever, When they do.. it's problaby more a need, than just a want. I imagine I will " need" human touch as much then.. as now.
And I have lost all desire a few times, in" hibernation "as one put it, Traumatic losses, and Emotional pain.. can do that to any sex.
But it always returned, usually with renewed hope, And Cooler Ideas! | |

You can tell your friend that women don't lose their sex drive. The libido of a woman can be effected by her hormones and physical illness but not age. In fact it is usually increased by age. Unlike men, a womans ability to be sexually stimulated or acheive orgasm is strongly influenced by her brain not her genitals and so is not decreased by age. Maybe the reason your friends partner is losing interest in sex is because he is not stimulating her most important sexual organ....her mind. | |

Posted: 10/31/2007 6:22:18 PM | A woman can lose her sex drive at any age. It can be due to many factors, one, physialogical, decrease in hormones. Two, psychological, due to trauma from rape or incest/molestation. Three, either early menopause due to hysterectomy, or regular menopause, which then the female body is adjusting for an eventual end to a womens cycle. Then, there is the lack of interest, due to other reasons, such as boredom, partner not fullfilling needs, no communication with open dialect as to what they need and desire. Then, there is the non interest, due to loss of attraction to that partner, for a number of reasons, loss of respect, anger,resentment. etc.
Many of these can be treated with either psychological therapy, medication,marriage/couples therapy. There is always something that can be done to help, if the parties involved are genuinely seeking help, for the right reasons.

talk to me about that when you grow up, sonny. at 57 I've been single all my life so I have some experience in these things. I can with all complete honesty and candor say that women are vastly superior in bed after forty.
