Posted: 11/11/2007 9:25:43 AM | Cuddling n' snuggling up close tend to strengthen a good relationship and I for one wouldn't want to not do so if things got serious with anyone.
Yeah, there's a time n' place to not be doing so but cosy nights in are all about stuff like that be it in bed or on the couch, either way its part of being close to someone and can often lead to great experiences later that evening hehe.
Everyone needs time n' space for themselves sometimes but a relationship with no cuddling and just mechanical sex is likely to be one that doesn't suit many people and just isn't the same. | |

What's funny on this particular issue (which is really "Cuddling VS Sex") is that guys often wonder what kind of cheap shitty tactic it is for women to cuddle, and then cuddle ... and then cuddle some more ... then cuddle again. Without any of it ever leading to sex.
I think it was Ron White who did the joke about, "You gotta pet the old dog sometimes if you want him to keep coming back to your porch."
That's really where women completely lose men in the whole cuddling vs sex equation. | |

I've never met a girl who wasn't obsessed with cuddling.
Sorry but no guy should just flat out admit they love cuddling. Every girl I know likes if a guy will cuddle but none of them wanted a guy to come out and be like "aww I love cuddling, long walks on the beach and doing laundry"

Posted: 11/11/2007 3:06:11 PM | Well at first I was just being sarcastic about turn in your man card. I said don't admit it because I was saying that lots of guys say they are into cuddling etc to look like a nice guy and get brownie points with girls.
I'm not into cuddling at all and would never volunteer to do it but if a girl I'm with likes it like my ex I have no problem doing it. I just don't see how cuddling can come up in normal conversation initially so thats why I said what I said.
If a difference in opinions on cuddling is enough to end a relationship thats pretty dumb. I've never dated a girl who didn't like cuddling and I'm fine with doing it if it makes her happy. | |

Are you sure? I don't recall you using the word "balance". In fact, you said that you're not into cuddling at all. Where's the balance in that? As for the cuddling being a deal breaker....try living with a cuddle monster and you (as a non-cuddler) will quickly realize that you're not compatible. | |
