| Do guys really love to cuddle?
Posted: 12/22/2007 8:55:53 AM | I have read through all the posts on this thread. I have formulated a hypothesis.
For men who enjoy cuddling, they cuddle for one of two reasons:
1. Sexual Cuddling: They like to cuddle, hoping/thinking it will lead to sex. This cuddling time does not last long, since it either leads to, or follows sex.
2. Bond Cuddling: They cuddle because they have an emotional bond, and the contact strengthens the bond without having sex involved. This cuddling type is more relaxed and usually lasts longer because building the bond is the end result, not sex.
Personally, I enjoy both types. I treat Sexual Cuddling like an extended foreplay session. It slowly builds the passion and desire. Think of it as glowing embers in a fire, where you slowly and carefully fan the embers into a fire.
I also enjoy Bond Cuddling. It is where both persons can be perfectly relaxed and silent, just enjoying being near each other. It is there where you notice the little things, such as the sound of breathing, the beating of hearts, the smell of her hair, the scent of his cologne, the soft touches. Both persons are comfortable.
Those are just my thoughts.

(depending on the guy not always a bad thing) . But ladies look at it this way it will probably be the only foreplay your gonna get so go with it. | |

I must agree, I enjoy it too and don't expect it to lead to anything, but if it does great, if not, fine , it's still nice. | |

It's passionately hugging your female companion or girlfriend. If I really like a girl, I definitely would want to cuddle with or hug her passionately on a couch, sofa, bed, on a bench in public.... Some men are not the kind to hug, be warm to their children if they have any etc... It's considered unmacho like to cuddle for some guys, but most guys don't have that view. Obviously, the OP posted it, because there are enough men who are not so affectionate the way she would like it, but there are some men who are more affectionate than your average male or female. It depends on the person, not simply the gender. | |

Just be aware that it is sometimes going to lead to sex. That doesn't mean the cuddling wasn't fun. It is just a fact of biology that if you are snuggling with a woman, and you haven't had sex in awhile, things are going to, uh, come up. | |
