It was flattering and sort of appealing but they just seemed too young.

I'm kinda curious as to how having sex with (I'm assuming) a non drugged actual bonafide grown up who WANTS to have sex with you can EVER be "using" them?
Or was that simply a "hey ladies, look how "nice" I am" sorta post?
In short the ONLY people who I would suspect have NEVER turned down sex are either total wimps, had so little self image they thought they HAD to or they might get dumped or were just too desperate to ever say so if they didnt want sex,,,well, and maybe folks who always date fairly frigid boring women too obviously as it just wouldnt be on offer often enough for refusal to be an option lol
Plus a lot of men seem to only date the kind of women whos self esteem is so low they make a ridiculous and pathetically tedious song and dance about being turned down for sex which I think still reflects on the blokes lack of self esteem for being attracted to such a screwed up mess of a woman to begin with
I think for various a reasons a hell of a lot of men are quite literally too scared to ever turn down sex, either simply because they are scared about doing so directly or because they are scared it will affect their self image or self view of their "masculinity" if they do

The biggest reason was that I was married for a long time. When I was younger, at times, I was scared by beautiful women and I'd panic. I've turned down numerous offers of sex when I've had steady girlfriends. It's anyones guess how genuine half those offers were. | |

I've passed up sex for most of the obvious reasons already stated (she was drunk, she was married etc), but the one reason in particular goes toward what I quoted above, and thats been in situations where the woman and I were good friends. Its all well and good if we're both on the same page and are mutually agreed upon a friendly romp in the hay. But I've turned down a few women in the past because they wanted more from me than I could give them at the time, and if I had slept with them, I would have felt I was leading them on. At that point it can get messy, ruin the friendship and cause bad feelings all around, so its best avoided. | |

The fist time that comes to mind was when a army buddy of mine mom made a pass at me. Just didnt know if hed be cool with it and didnt want to mess up my friendship. (plus she was had been drinking) Another time was when my boss asked me for a ride home one night and when I got to her place, her and her old man were both token some bud and hinted that they wanted me to join em for some 2 on 1 action...(wasnt with that, just not comfortable involved in any kinda sexual activity when there are other nude guys near) And passed up on some because I was too young and stupid too realize I was being hit on at that time. Also passed up on some anonymous sex from this lady I met on the bus when I was home on leave from basic training. She came onto me and started feeling me up on the bus, and she wanted me to get off and go in an adult news stand with private booths with her. At that time I was young and nothing like that had ever happened to me...so I got nervous and chickened out. lol | |

16 is the age of consent in Michigan, you could have gone for it if she really wanted to. That isn't so bad when someone is in their early 20's. The maturity level is pretty close. | |

You're not. As you probably have also, I've said 'no' when my partner has bad hygiene, when she's emotionally vulnerable (i.e. desperate) and when I have intention of entering the kind of relationship she's looking for (e.g. if she's looking for a LTR and I can't see myself w/her for very long). (I'm not referring to the same woman in all 3 scenarios.)
The hardest one, maybe, was when a 28 year-old virgin wanted me to come over this summer after having phone sex--and real sex was all but assured. However, a real friend convinced me that her flower was not for me to take.

I wasn't attracted to her at all, s o one time when we were both wasted she was all over me and I tried to let her down nicely, she didn't take the hint. Eventually I got rude and straight up was like "NO! I will not have sex with you!" and she got real pissed, cause how dare I refuse to have sex with someone, right?
Anyways a while down the line we found out we were like third cousins so, I guess it worked out for the both of us. | |
