Posted: 10/12/2004 6:28:35 AM | Update: the first POF'r fell through on Saturday and so did the second guy (whom I didn't meet on POF.) However, all is not lost... I still had 3 dates/get-togethers this weekend (none of them first time meetings either.)
Now, if I could only find ONE good one. :)

Today we went to see The Grudge and then out to eat and then out to the beach for a stroll. I'm such a wuss...I screetched the whole time. Looks like he'll get date #3. 95% don't make it past date #3 so it will be interesting to see what happens after that :) | |

Posted: 10/24/2004 11:10:32 PM | I think I did. His name was Fred or something. I'm pretty sure I met him on here. He had horrible teeth and was really dorky. I'm a big stickler on teeth. Anywho, I suppose it is possible. Most of the guys I meet for dates are off of the internet. I don't know how I would react if a real flesh and blood guy asked me for my number.

I havent got any real dates here yet, but then again Im not really looking to date anyone at this time either. Im happy to have got a few emails here, (I think I emailed them first) which lead to some chats and a couple of really cool phone calls. Im very pleased to be able to meet new people here and just talk on the phone. To me it's almost as cool as a real date because what I have been really needing all along was to talk to somebody in my shoes that I could relate too. Perhaps something could lead to a date in the future, but for now Im just happy chating and/or talking on the phone. | |

Yea, Im gonna be here untill I get my career changes moving. Likely I will stay here untill I get out of school. Im taking tests to enroll into a local trade school. I have decided to become a nurse, its a career change I look forward too. I always loved helping people, and locally I know of no better career choice, as it's something that interest me and the $$ is top rate. Thank God for family at times like this. | |

So what's the point in pumping your image up if you can't deliver upon meeting? Like I won't notice that you are actually 5"6 as opposed to 5"11? This guy was fine but if he had been truelly honest from the get go then he would have had a better chance. Oh well. I will never give up though. lol. Maybe you were nervous because you really like him? I don't know. I don't ever find myself anxious when meeting someone new. Something for me to ponder on. | |

Posted: 11/11/2004 4:00:19 PM | | Well I've actualy had another meeting with friend I made on here last month. She was camping about an hour from my house ( which she was from ohio too) lol. So she invited me down to hang out. I met her mom and hung out with both of them all day, and drank all night. Had a blast! There are plenty of great people out there, just take your time and get too know them as well as you can before you actualy meet. I would recommend gaurding your heart alittle in the begining. Just so you don't get your hopes up too much before you actualy spend time in each others pressance too see if it would work or just be another friend. My two cents worth. lol | |
