I just turned 50 in January, and I'm finding it's difficult to open up since my last relationship ended two years ago. I guess when you get hurt enough, your views tend to change as you grow older. Seriously though my problem is i gave up after the last heart break,but now I feel optimistic and adventurous so I made up my mind to make it a priority to get out and try to meet someone.I want romance and I have never been married and have no kids.My Mum says I am a catch,lol! Mountains or Ocean. Depends on what and/who I may find. Would love to join a group in Maggie Valley but will not be in the area until Mid-August. Maybe by then, something will come up. Saw a lot of interest in get-togethers from upstate SC as well.
I think I am going to enjoy the forums. Lots of good folks in this world. | |

I am over 60 and still feel 30 in spirit. It's just my body that sometimes says "hey, what do you think you're doing"?
The younger generations have always thought that romance belonged to them exclusively...sorry kids, I'm 64 and very much alive. I learned well with this aging process, enough to halfway understand a man! | |
