Go to edit profile and you should be able to change it, otherwise make a new profile, that would be the reason that your not getting messages as you wont be on any guys searches.
You need to talk about yourself, what you like to do, what you are interseted in and what you are looking for on here.
What you have written does sound a bit desperate (sorry). Try and tease them with information about yourself, dont give everything away just a little. Dont just list either, expand on some things.
Paragraphs and spacing are important in a profile, you have to make it easy to read.

Your pictures are dark. Your main pic should be clear, easy to see you and smilling to get best result (imo).
You should talk more about yourself, i know i say this a lot but it is true... This is your ad, this one page needs to make an impression so that people will msg you. So tell us about you, what yu enjoy, what your interested in and what your looking for. It shouldn't be an essay but just enough to get some info about you.

You need to talk about you in this profile, describe your personality, talk about your interests and what you enjoy doing. You have to write about these things so that people can judge to see if you have anything in common. Doesn't have to be an essay but please dont just list. Write as though you are talking to someone about yourself.
btw. yes i agree you do need a new pic. Take one that is of you clear and smilling...

So your a fun guy? Thats all you say about yourself. i have four things that i look for in a profile..
1. About yourself (describe your personality)
2. About your interests.
3. About what you enjoy doing.
4. What you are looking for. (generally)
Your main picture also should be one that grabs attention, so have one that you are looking at cam, smilling and its clear and easy to see.
the use of paragraphs and spacing i find important in a profile, making it easy to read will mean that more will read it.

You need to talk about yourself. An intelligent man will read your profile and may judge you on it. So start off talking about yourself, like yo are saying it to some one. Try and make it look like you have put no effort into it and it is a great profile still. Talk more about your interests, dont just list. I like that you have humor, makes your personality come to the profile.
Maybe a few for pics will help as well.

If you have to explain your pic with the friend why not just take it out?
You profile does explain you and everything you do. I would suggest cutting a little of it. You want to tease women with info about you and leave them wanting to know more about you. If you tell everything now then what can they ask you about? I think the dating process is one of discovery. You need to discover some of these things

You really need a current pic. It will turn some off knowing thats 10yrs old, only because so many lie (not saying you do) about what they look like.
you say
I want to be left alone this is not going to get you dates (sorry).
Your profile needs to be positive and descriptive of you and your interests and enjoyments.

Posted: 11/18/2007 10:07:35 PM | Ok, the photo is gone. I've always had a problem with writing too much with things like this. While going through my apprenticeship, we did a couple of lab projects on motor controls. Everyone's write-ups were 3 pages at the most. Mine were anywhere between 10-14! What can I say, I go all out. (And I did have the highest scores.) 
Anyway, I'll go back and see what fat I can cut out without losing the meat. Any suggestions on this?
