Posted: 5/22/2005 3:06:07 AM | I met 3 women from online sites, but out of respect for their privacy will not say anything more. 2 were from match.com and one was from 2ofakindonline.
By far the best bet for you is match.com. It is the only site that has a roughly equal number of males and females on it. All others have an excess of males over females, AFAIK.
I hear yahoo is pretty good but you only get local matches.
If a woman is local and she doesn't agree to a coffee date after about 4 emails then she's not serious and you should move on. If she is not local, give it 6 months--it's best that the two of you demonstrate your dedication to the process before blowing the cash on a meeting. | |

Posted: 5/22/2005 5:40:05 AM | I have been doing the online "encounters" since the late 90's...and to tell you the truth, I think I could count about around 10 or less (that's within almost a 10 year period) 10 women in 10 years.
Typically I meet 1 to 2 women in person...the rest would be some woman either wanting to GAB on the phone endlessely for hours, but somehow she's "too busy" to do lunch.
I have lost patience with a couple of women, because I was like, "Hey, are we going to meet or what" It would be my 3rd time asking them that question...and they'd get severely pissed and say,
"You know what I don't like a guy who is PUSHY!" And then put me on ignore.
Wow...a "Pushy" guy who actually wants to EVENTUALLY see you face to face....go figure.
She's just looking for some poor sap to waste time with. | |

I just read your profile, if you don't mind me saying this. At your age you are looking for a woman 18 to 36, do you feel that is a bit young for you? I see nothing wrong with age difference, but in your picture you look older. It has happen to me, when a man says he is younger but turns out to be older. I am over fifty but I look very good for my age and I feel great. I just wish people would be honest about age. Not saying are not being honest, but alot of men and women are not. Good luck on your quest. | |

I met some through here and most through Yahoo. Seam I have better luck on the internet. Then real life. Meaning doing the club and bar thing.
Beside I travel a lot. So finding some one in local area is hard if you not from the place.
Also just got give it time. lots of it.
I found it easer just to post a profile and let the lady choose if she want to contact me or not. Then me flooding the net with hundreds of e-mails to ladies. That tends to drive them away.
Also posting in forums and chatting in chat rooms breaks the ice better. then one on one chat. Gives the reader kind ideal how some one mind works. Before they contact them.
So all I can say give it time.

LMAO!!...what? from any women from this seming STUCK up main line area...although Im Sooo NOT surprized....as they have a GA--ZILLION- guys after them probably....so anyway...NOPE nothing from THIS SITE or a few others where they ONLY seem to know how to WINK at you....as a side note. have got a bunch of mail from people OVER 49 from NY, DEL, and other states. ...PS...I certainly welcom anyone who cares to give any feedback..
