Anyway yep it's totally genetically normal. Apparently when I was a toddler in diapers I "discovered" my dads playboys. I guess the house was too silent and when my Mom looked for me she found me "humping" the centerfold. Needless to say the playboys were soon removed from the house. | |

I know a woman who's teenage son is not fascinated....more like obsessed! It borders on weird to me.....
Nothing to be worried about, but you might need to tell him to use his "inside" voice, and not blurt it out loud in public..... | |

Posted: 11/14/2007 6:07:56 AM | | yep yep totaly normal lol i used to think it was only me but then alot of other mothers said there kids do it aswell my son is 2an a half and was breast fed untill he was 1 an a half now he always puts his hand down my top and holds on to my boobie lol he wont go to sleep without holding his boobie as he calls it lol but never had the problem while we have been put so thats good lol | |

Children in their young age are learning about thier and other ppl's body parts... it is quite normal for them to be facinated by these things and place such high ephasis on them... ie. did you breasfeed?? I do believe that him saying boobies is reflecting the comfort of breast feeding, rather than looking at boobies in a sexual way...maybe he is just missing the whole aspect and feeling of boobies that was given during breastfeeding stage....

I only was able to breast feed for the first two months....so I doubt this made a HUGE impact on it....I do think others are right....it is perfectly normal, and sure is funny as heck! | |

this is perfectly normal. my wee boy is now six and still talks about boobies and winkies. i just explain that all women have boobies and they are for feeding the baby milk and winkie thing my wee boy used to get upset about his winkie standung up in the morning, i just told him its saying good morning and that all winkies do that, so that he wont worry, hope this makes you feel better, just chill and dont make a big deal of it   | |

Posted: 11/15/2007 5:58:27 PM | i totally agree my son just made 3 and i sometimes feel he is obsessed with them. Its natural i'm not grossed out in any way simply because they fed him. I mean thats what they are there for feeding purposes. I actually disliked my chest before but i hate it more now since i had my son and breastfed him I just hope one day they will not sag to the floor lol that is my hope. It could be a lot worse he could have said something worse. | |

Posted: 11/17/2007 6:05:41 AM | When my youngest was about 2 or 3? there was this commercial for the hometown arena football on all the time, the kid didn't even watch cartoons at the time, but every time he heard that music, he'd come a running! I thought it was  he loved those cheerleaders, he's 11 now and yes he knows what boobies are, but he doesn't point them out or come a running to see them. | |

I am sure that somewhere along the way (maybe on a tv show, with his Dad, older brother, etc...) someone made a posture at "boobies" and he repeated what was said and recieved possitive attention. At his age that is what he will be seeking from people. If going around obsessing about "boobies" gets him that attention, he will continue. After a while of ignoring him, his behavior should flatten out. I don't think that he is a pervert in the making, it is just a normal attention seeking behavior that most 4 year olds will do...just in your case you may have to explain to the in-laws | |
