Posted: 11/9/2007 2:02:18 PM | Hey Tina...I've got christmas spirit it's just that there's usually nothing going on at my house for the holidays...my daughter and I are on the go the whole time visiting and what have you.So see I'm not a scrooge.

Posted: 11/9/2007 3:37:18 PM | | the tradition in our house is the tree goes up after everyone is done relaxing from the thanksgiving dinner and before my tow brother can ecsape from my moms, so I can get them to put up lights. cause if they get away i don;t get lights put out for I am toooooo short to reach where they need to go. Posted: 11/10/2007 5:33:47 AM | I would normally put up my tree the weekend after THANKSGIVING. And let the kids put on the ornaments. Not sure if I'm even gonna do a tree this year. I didn't last year. I know my BUDDY will put his up in the uckeye room. I guess I could........ and let Moses and LITTLE dave put on the ornaments!!!
 
I guess I will just have to JUMP off that bridge when I get to it.

My tree goes up about the end of the first week of Dec. NEVER a fake tree either for me it's gotta be a real tree or nothing at all. I'm excited about decorating "my home" for Christmas this year. Last year I was in my sisters home and although we decorated all my stuff was still in boxes.  | |

Posted: 11/10/2007 10:34:16 PM | Last year I sat amongst plaster & dust on the floor in my damaged house, had a pot of coffee & soup, the holidays don't mean much anymore. (I do get the whole weekend off though!!)

I usualy get 3 invites for Turkey day, 2 from family and 1 from a good friend (which lives the closest). You have to turn down 2 of them and I always feel bad about it. There isn't any way I could attent even 2 of them because of the distance between them all.
But an invite to Tina's house? hmmm.. and I don't have a big fat sloppy belly either!
