| Let an accomplished screenwriter rate your profile. C'mon. Try me! Posted: 11/22/2007 3:56:31 PM | | Held off on letting you disect mine- I've agreed with what you've said about other's profiles so it's hard to step in front of the train after you seen that it doesn't swerve to miss. I let a few others (whose profiles I found a little...lacking) rate mine, so if you'd be so kind... urm... unkind... oh Hell! Just get on with it please! Thanks! | |

maybe cut it down; however, your confidence and communication are the keys to attracting exacting what you are looking for.
fantastic!

| Let an accomplished screenwriter rate your profile. C'mon. Try me! Posted: 11/22/2007 4:32:12 PM | ZAIND69: you need more interests. with spending a bill and half on riding boots i know you're serious about bikes. what the jacket cost? exactly! you need to list that, man. the average viewer is just going to think you just like dressing up like a power ranger or something -- tell us your story.
hey, you're the real deal and need to be in pictures. ever do commercials. you've got additude. charm. confidence. try to get into something. i'm not a casting director, but i do make up characters.
love the first date section; no go tackle the "about me" one. more pic's too. hang one up with you on the two wheeler.
best, chris
p.s. rubber side down! | |

you know i love ya since you're from OH -- my homeland, so i'm just playing.
BUT GET RID OF THAT PIC! it does you no justice. you're a smart guy so just have a friend snap a few or you timer it while being RELAXED. for christ's sake, you've passed a standardized test to sign and seal plans, right? let's pull 'em back out for one more task -- shoot that prize winning picture -- you can do, your profile says you can!
love the writing. you're a great guy. you have loads to offer. christ, you're an ohioian!!!!! psst... (whispering) you earn a honest buck or two -- you have nothing to loose with this blueprint -- so build it already!!!!
i've got my eye on you, kid. you're goin' places!!

I know the pic is horrible and it's the next thing to go. You should have seen the first one. Could have been used as birth control in thrid world nations. Yuck.
Keep it up brother! And thanks again!

Posted: 11/22/2007 4:46:05 PM | | SLIGO930: the last person to give me an order to rewrite something was a director that i grabbed by his lapels and slammed him into the wall. i took my script back (which was in my contract) and sold to columbia across the street for half. it lost me an agent and a whole lotta bucks, but hey, i know how to make a point ...don't i...?

| Let an accomplished screenwriter rate your profile. C'mon. Try me! Posted: 11/22/2007 6:32:16 PM | Hey Chris,
Thank you so much...I needed that...I think I have read my profile a million times wondering what could be wrong...but now I realize it's not me with the problem...it's all of THEM LOL
I do realize it's long but the way I look at it...if a guy can't take 3 mins out of his day to read my profile then he's not my type...plain and simple!
Thanks again and best wishes!
Kind Regards, Jessica | |

| Let an accomplished screenwriter rate your profile. C'mon. Try me! Posted: 11/22/2007 8:11:05 PM | ITALCHICK: first, i like your confidence; however, your pic's are a bit too blurry to let that come fully through. second, list some specific interests -- you gotta have some. last, don't use all caps and ... throughout your writing. in screenwriting those are used to draw out a word, to let every second hang on a hour type of thing. or, they're commonly used to omit words, string together thoughts and so on. when ever i see someone using them (mostly producers) it makes me think they have no idea what they are talking about or are not focused. you are with what i read, so drop 'em.
best, chris
p.s. more pic's the better in my book. you're an attractive gal so show it off!

| Let an accomplished screenwriter rate your profile. C'mon. Try me! Posted: 11/22/2007 8:13:47 PM | SHELLZB: i'll be right over! just kidding. love the new pic. black and white is so classy, plus it shows off what you've got!
break up your writing with spaces.
i.e.
get it? make some clean white space. it'll be easier to read.

I'm not totally convinced your intro shot is the best of you, but all in all it's your decision. throw in a full body pic. you're lean and mean so show her. i think your interest section should be beef'd up a bit. this is where you can show your diversity of music, writing and so forth.

| Chris the Writer-Myster Posted: 11/23/2007 10:53:29 AM | So, still too much humor. Hmmmm. Well, I am thrilled I am coming across okay in the profile. I am kinda insecure deep down, so I ask: Are screenwriters real trustable, LoL. Hey, it's my hunting trip, and I'm trusting your guidance leads me to my quarry.
Your a good man for doing all this work pro bono. I envy your talents.
Tx Dude,
- Ken
p.s. it's already working !
