Posted: 11/13/2007 8:07:22 PM | Well Mustang I have a problem you had a birthday on the 9th of November and blondiegrneyz is on the 2nd and you both like chocolate well and mine well it would be my 19th I am thinking and it is also in December the 19th so we can all celebrate together lol...and I have only one thing to say about the crown it is a very cozy comfortable place and not to loud so everyone can chat and get to know each other and HELL YEAH we donate a lot of our time but we all love doing it in hope to find our or someone there prince or princess it is just hoping that we all do.....

ok fellow fishies... just like before, if there is another fish that rather TICKLES YOUR LIL FANCY.... let him/her know about the big meet and greet, this is a perfect way to finally lay eyes on the one you have been oogling from afar, now you can oogle in person! 
now is the time to jump onboard sign up early, cause it gives everyone else who might not be sure they want to attend a chance to see who is going to be there, and then they may just sign up too!

Posted: 11/14/2007 4:29:26 PM | Ok, I'm DEFINITELY signing up for this one. As soon as I saw chocolate mentionned, I knew I just had to !! And just to second some of the previous posters, the hostesses/hosts do a great job of getting folks mingling and chatting, and I sincerely am glad there are people willing to do this for all of us single/not so single folks and like us, they are looking for that .
I think the venue works for us just fine, but hey... I've been to a few gatherings for POF at different venues and enjoyed all I've attended, so a change wouldn't stop me from going and have a great time. I gotta admit, I enjoy the karaoke aspect, and the fact that you don't have to shout to carry on a conversation with folks.
ps. Should we bring our own plates for the chocolate cake or will plates and utensils be supplied? 
pps. Birthday bumps for those recently celebrated and coming up should be scheduled for this event. ie. blondie and shadow

Ottawa is a happening place this weekend....maybe time for a road trip to all those outside of Regina....come and meet some of the nicest people I have met in a long time.
Great voices amongst our group...everyone is made to feel welcome....

Keeko... nothing to thank - just very glad you enjoyed yourself. I so totally agree that these meets feel like a big, cozy house party and are a safe and comfortable way to put some actual faces behind all these profiles. So all you other shy fish, listen to Keeko - get out from behind your computer, come on out, meet some new people and maybe even find that potential partner that most of us are on here are looking for.

Well, BLONDIE, PATCHOULIE, IRISH EYES, PIGTAILS, LONERIDER, had a great time with you gals tonight! and i KNOW that December 1st is gonna be a WILD AND CRAZY NIGHT!
cant wait to get back together with ALL our fish friends to have fun!
there is something about getting together every so often whith a load of people ya know, and have stuff in common with... it becomes something that you look forward to. and i have to admit i am certainly looking forward to this next event.
i know speaking personally, when i was 20 or even 30, it was much easier to go out and find people to have fun with. now i work and go home, and if i go out, often i find that meeting new people isnt quite as easy as it was ..... a few years ago.
these meet and greet events, regardless of what we do or where we go, make it a little easier, and a whole lot more fun.
k, well its is after 4am, and i have babbled quite long enough, im gonna eat my sub, and tuck myself into bed. and i hope when i come back online we have even more fish who are signed up to come along for the ride!

Posted: 11/19/2007 2:54:10 AM | | just a little note to the hosts ,sure would be nice if the owner could get the dance floor speakers fired up as it would promote more danceing thereby thinning out the crowd a bit ,the more up on the dance floor the more room for his staff to take and serve drink orders .i mention this as i like to dance and have had this concern mentioned to me by many others,i would contact him myself but as hosts you may have a bit more leverage to get er done!!! i would like to add you are all doing a bang up job,thanks from all of us..see you there.and be sure to check out up coming xmas event in mj on dec 08 at the royal | |
