| What made you smile today?
Posted: 4/3/2008 3:43:27 PM | Wolfie, with your positive attitude,I don't think even lawyers can ruin your day. Iused to live in Orlando & used to listen to 105.9, but it was different type of music back then. What type of music do they play now?
Don't know if this is more in the smile or the humor category, but here it goes!
As I was eating lunch at Checker's today I saw a squirrel reach into someone's bag, pull out a piece of bacon & eat the bacon. There were about 3 or 4 people with cameras that snapped photos of the squirrel with a piece of bacon sticking out of his mouth. The squirrel devoured the bacon in about 3 minutes & was standing up on his back legs while eating the bacon.
I found this very amusing & had a smile thinking out this back to my office. | |

Posted: 4/5/2008 9:47:54 AM | Hey Taxman.........oh, believe me Lawyers can REALLY ruin my day........and that they did........suffice it to say that THEY got everything THEY wanted and well, i got the shaft.......and the bill..........aaaargh!!! i wonder how they can sleep at night??????
practice practice practice.........as i am sure i am not the first nor will i be the last that they burn.............but you know, KARMA is an interesting thing........what goes around comes around......i just hope i live long enough to see it come to fruition......
105.9 used to be "oldies"........50's n 60's stuff, then all of a sudden, it was salsa and meringue music.......now don't get me wrong, i like latin music, i am 1/2 cuban........but NOT all day and ALL night.........now it's back to more of an oldies stations but mostly the 70's and 80's (OMG.....that's the NEW oldies??????)  give it a listen if you get a chance.....it's great sing-along music. might even bring back a few memories for ya, sure does for me.
and i LOVE the squirrel story.........i fancy myself as a pretty good photographer and they are very willing subjects. and they are very clever, as your story shows.......... your story made me smile, so thanks for sharing.

Naughtical. did you go to the Seafood Fest? I went this afternoon & it was perfect weather. I had a great time pigging out on oysters & scallops. So much for the 60% chance of rain they were predicting! | |

Posted: 4/11/2008 1:16:41 PM | I have to say that maybe tomorrow (Saturday) I'll be smiling IF and ONLY IF my fridge/freezer that I purchased on 3/27 comes unscathed, unscratched and not damaged in any capacity.
As for today, just happy to be alive and healthy. That is all that matters for most, hopefully.

Then she was shown a picture of her grandmother and me and she smiled and ran away with the picture calling my name. That put a smile in my heart as well as my face.  | |

Posted: 5/4/2008 2:53:23 PM | My hamsters waking me up. Well, not at first. But then you cant help it. I woke up to FeeFee running in her ball attached to her cage with food in it. It was quite loud. I emptied it but not 10 minutes later she did it again. kept running and running... had to be for at least 30 minutes if not longer. I could only laugh at her. LOL
My next smile will be when my girls get home, in about 45 minutes... | |
