Posted: 7/15/2008 11:56:30 AM | Today there was alot of stupid traffic and yet there was very few stupid drivers....that is not only worth a smile but 3 cheers!!!
And a little girl smiled at me today when I was shopping and that of course makes anyone smile when a child gives you that first!!!

Posted: 7/27/2008 7:29:59 AM | What made me SMILE today or actually yesterday was that I had a date. And even though I had no sleep because I came out of work at 7am and got home and started getting ready for the date since it was a brunch date.
Well the guy showed up with a beautiful orchid I love flowers and it was great to see that he didn't show up with the common flower a rose. I love and appreciate even if its a daisy picked from the garden at the last moment but the plant is awesome.. the date went great and the person turned out to be a great guy.. So that made me SMILE.  | |

I smiled today because I saw my granddaughter. She has been sick and just not herself. Today she was. Rambunctious, full of energy and wanting to play. The almost three year old completely wore me out and that was good. | |

The mom was putting stuff on the thingie (what the heck do you call that?). As I am unable to resist... I started making faces... and this kid just started busting out laughing. Every time the mom would look up I'd be minding my own business.. looking here or there. (this got the other customers and workers giggling). By the time mom was done the kid was laughing so hard she was sucking wind. Nothing is better than hearing a kid squeal with joy. And the poor mom kept apologizing to everyone around. I jokingly asked her to keep her girl quiet and the girl checking her out snorted and then blushed. Hah. ok... maybe there is something better. | |

Posted: 8/6/2008 7:38:30 AM | Riding the bike thru the early dawn sunrise on the way to work, flock of ibis overhead...morning sounds, crisp coolness. Dripping ferns & froggy croaks.
Made me wish it was farther than the 3 miles that went by so quickly.....felt like the most honorable thing to do would be to keep going til I hit the ocean's edge.

Posted: 8/16/2008 3:34:43 AM | HEY Keith,That was so sweet,Kids can say thing that will warm your heart,and even as they get older and on there on,I have 2 grown boys with 2 grandbabys and everytime I talk to my Sons no matter where they maybe, the last words they say to me is I Love You Mom- that makes me smile knowing I did a great job raising them to Love andRespect.. HEY SONS THIS MOM LOVES YOU!!!!
