Nothing wrong with living in a trailer, so long its not a rusted out tin can in the middle of a junkyard.

It really doesn't matter where he lives to me, as long as he is living in something other that a cardboard box

the only women who'll date a man in a trailor is one who has one herself or nothing at all. A female lawyer, doctor...hell...most secretaries and bank tellers making $10/hr. simply won't.

This is wrong of course but it is in fact the way it is.

That is the way it is in consumer America where there is never enough to have.

You should find out more about some one before you put them on a losser scale. I for one lived in a R.V. for 6 years. But it was because of work I traveled from Washing ton to Texas for my job, staying from 2 weeks to a couple of months. If you would have seen me then and didn't ask, you would have not known I had a house on property, and a healthy bank account. There are many reasons people live in trailers, some are just getting back on there feet after some thing else happened in there life. Plus that old saying do not judge a book by its cover. That person in the trailer could be alot more then you thing.

Is the trailor clean? Is it bug free? And I hope you know what I mean by bug free.
Has it been maintained?

Does it have a big bathtub? I like my baths. How about the size of the closet? I like that big too. And, no I don't have that many clothes.

Anyone ever read the book, "The Millionaire Next Door".

If a man spends money on you does this guarantee he has an abundance of it? NO

There's trailers and there's trailers. All trailers are not created equal.

I don't have a trailer and I'm actually quite comfortable............like I said already it's about the "man" not where he lives. If someone wants to date me because of what I have financially, they don't have a chance in Hell with me.

Hey SL66 and others, I'm sorry if I offended, let me rephrase!!
My generalization was meant as just that, a generalization.
I believe that in many areas a trailer is just another normal dwelling. As in Florida where population is dense and land is scarce it makes sense to live in a trailer.
However... here in western NY, where population is not dense and property is not expensive, it is safe to say that the AVERAGE trailer dweller is low-income and low-standards. This is easy to see by taking a ride around various local towns. Some mobile homes are nice but most are heaped with junk in the yard and several pickup trucks up on blocks. So,, back to what the OP asked... yes people do view trailer dwellers as SOMEWHAT less than desireable.

Now lets see.
The guy's living in a trailer, on a three acre block, while he builds his dream home. He's been working on his drream home for three years now and it's only half finished because, on his income, of casual od jobs, he can't aford to buy large amounts of buillding supplies. But he's getting there.

Or else.

The guys a high profile New York laywer. 100k plus job and swish apartment. And not a red cent to his name. The money gone on rental on the apartment and the associated lifeestyle as fast as it's earned.

Use your brains. It's never as simple as a trailer. There are some motorhomes out there which are worth more than a million dollars.

if its a nice trailor then there's no problem, like one of those new double wide ones, they rock
however if its like the "twister" style of trailor populated by mommie and 10 cats then noooo way

The reputation of people living in trailers or trailer parks as being low classed and scummy or trailer trash is more of an American thing. I live two houses away from a trailer park here and the people who live there are normal ,average , hardworking , law abiding citizens. I don't see why anyone would have a problem with someone who lives in a trailer . Not everyone can afford a house and not everyone wants to live in an apartment so it is a good alternative.

McDreamy lives in a trailer...

If the guy looked like McDreamy he could live any-damn-where and I'd still date him.

I would date a man who lived in one, but I would not date a man who couldn't spell it.

I find it interesting that some who look down their nose at people who rent or live in trailors, look themselves as if they've probably lived in a run-down trailor park all their lives...

Is one there to see the person, or where he resides at this time....remember that term...'at this time'...Capish?

If it were a woman , you'd here every woman on this site, piss and moan about,'whats wrong with that?'

Shallow as a well in the Mojave Desert.

Is this considered to low class.

Yes.
What else would it be when compared to an apartment or house?
But its not the far bottom though. Unless you live in a skid row hotel room, Salvation Army, tent, carboard box or dumpster, don't worry about it.

I have seen trailer homes that were nicer than some apartments and homes.... it's just like anything else... if people let them go... they will not be nice...

Only reason a lot of people in florida live in trailers, saves on cost of repairing a house ever 3 years.

what she lives in does not matter to me. how she carries herself does.

For me it would just depend on way too many factors, like why they're living there, if they're renting or own the land, how well they take care of it, whether or not it's in a trailer park etc etc.
