I still don't know what love is, but I have found a person I would like to get know better. So, to answer to the thread is no, but in a week, a month or a year it could be yes. Or maybe it doesn't really matter, there's always reason to be hopeful.

Well I have been talking to this very special man now for 1 month.
Is a month now I'm in chat....
I really want know him better He give me what I never Had before...He is so sweet and real I'm crazy for him...
I havnet met him yet but ..I love him so much...
U never know what might happen or how love might find u.

I have met a few very nice ladies on here, even if it has only gone to a friendship, it still gives me hope that maybe on day one will come along with a little more intrest than friendship. I do think no matter what, every relationship has to start with friendship first, so who knows, maybe I have already met the person that will become closer than a friend to me, maybe not. I agree with some as much as I disagree. I believe love can be found in all aspects of life, if one was so inclined to remain open-minded.
There are as many problems online as there are IRL. Example;
Those looking for a "personality based" relationship might wander onto a dating site such as this to avoid people judging them plainly upon looks.
Wanting people to get to know "the real me".
Problem with that;
A fairly large percent of those people are acting upon what they think will land thier greatest catch, hencefourth they are not themselves, but what they believe people will want.
"IRL relationships" Are horribly based upon looks, there is no way around it.
If someone catches your eye from acrossed the room, you don't think;
"Hey, he looks like an honest person." Or "She has great morals."
You are beaming with attraction for that person because of looks, and looks alone.
So in conclusion, finding "love" anywhere has it's Pro's and Con's.
If you are willing to accept that, you luck for love has greatly increased.
...Then again, I could just be a ranting lunatic. ;) | |

I won't condemn those who 'put on a play' in search of affection or love, but I will say they need to find a new hobby.
If someone was truly interested in finding love, or something close to it, they wouldn't play games.
I say, be who you are, if people don't like you, a fresh batch of cookies will be done within the hour.
You'll eventually eat one that won't burn your tongue. ;) | |
