| POF Motorcyle ride in the Denver Metro Area. May 1, 2008 Posted: 3/2/2008 10:47:21 AM | I'm glad I got my inaugural ride in yesterday! Now I just got in from shoveling my driveway! The wind is awful! You're right! Only in Colorado!
You know, I see we've past 50 people wanting to go on this ride! That's great! Now it might be a good idea to break up the groups for the actual ride. Kinda hard to have 50 plus bikes in one group, what with traffic lights and such. Some people from the north might meet everyone at the first stop, the Windjammer by Carter Lake. Others from the south might meet down there early, and then ride up to meet the rest of us at the main starting point at the Graystone Castle on 120th and I-25. It will probably grow to 60 or more people, so, maybe groups of about 20 at a time would be a good idea. Leave every 15 minutes or so. Just make sure one person "leader" in each group knows the route and directions! Maybe swap cell numbers amongst group leaders. Good idea? Yes? No? | |

somehow I deleted my first response here to you.
As previously stated, when closer to the date of ride, we will have to address all the concerns of the ride.
Happy riding on that new bike!

| POF Motorcyle ride in the Denver Metro Area. May 1, 2008 Posted: 3/5/2008 9:32:40 PM | Hey bikervictory,
are you referring to a different ride for a poker run? Denver area POF hasn't been real successful with ANY of their events. It may be because of the work involved.
I'm trying to keep this simple and safe, which is why I'm going for the ticket sells as prizes. Also, to make sure that there is mingling time for the riders. If this ride, is successful; we can do more in the future!
Get back with me this!
